Blackmailing blockchain developers Posted: 05 Sep 2019 10:28 PM PDT It seems possible to me that some of the Bitcoin Core developers like Peter Todd have been blackmailed into destroying the functionality of BTC as peer-to-peer electronic cash. I fear that it would be possible to do the same to BCH. Do you think that's plausible and, if so, what do you think could be done to prevent it? [link] [comments]

How to buy BTC in Australia if your under 18? Posted: 05 Sep 2019 10:00 PM PDT Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is the right sub but I'm attempting to buy some BTC at the moment but so far all websites show that I need to be over 18 etc, but surely there is some way I can get bitcoin? Onion links are no worries can use Tor if need be. Thank you! [link] [comments]
BCH withdrawal feeis too high on exchange.bitcoin.com (0.0201BCH per withdrawal - seriously?!) Posted: 05 Sep 2019 07:15 AM PDT Considering that BCH network fees are really low, why is exchange.bitcoin.com charging such a high withdrawal fee? BCH friendly exchanges such as coinex.com, cryptophyl.com etc are offering free withdrawals. Binance is known for their high withdrawal fees and their fee for BCH is 0.001 much lower than current exchange.bitcoin.com fee. I don't trade a lot myself but wouldn't this put people off? It will be interesting to know other people's take on this. Update: I didn't realise that there was already a discussion regarding this where Roger had confirmed that the fees will be reduced in an upcoming website update. [link] [comments]

Coinex: Stop-limit doesn't work all the time? Posted: 05 Sep 2019 11:12 PM PDT So I already had this happening back in Feb but know it happened again -.- Support just closes my ticket without even checking my orders. . When I set a sell stop-limit at stop price:100 I expect a limit offer will be placed as soon as the price drops below 100. This happens when it works. But this time the price dropped below 100 twice and the stop-limit does nothing it just sits there never changing into the limit order it is supposed to. . Does anyone else have this problem? Craig Wright Is Now The Poorest Person Possibly In The World Posted: 05 Sep 2019 01:09 PM PDT So Craig Wright will soon owe 5 billion dollars after losing the Kleinman case, although he doesnt have a fraction of a fraction of that, he will still be expected to pay it after his appeals run out, which will give him a networth of about -5 billion USD The poorest man in crypto / world history possibly Congrats CSW, you finally made a legitimate title for yourself in crypto history [link] [comments]
