Thoughts on the Townsville Bitcoin Cash City Conference

    Posted: 10 Sep 2019 09:58 PM PDT

Hey guys, I'm a longtime lurker in the crypto scene, here are my thoughts on the conference in Townsville. The conference was AMAZING, featuring super high quality speakers, great marketing, venue, events, and food/drink. I was welcomed right into the friendly BCH community and learned a TON about BCH development and adoption. The energy was really positive, and every single person there was contributing tremendously to the ecosystem (except me :( ) Also, it was AMAZING walking around town paying for pretty much everything with BCH: cabs, food/drink, the ferry, and even my hotel. Everyone I talked to LOVED the Bitcoin Cash Register merchant app and Bitcoin.com wallet, many said the combination was faster and easier to use than EFTPOS, the local banking POS system.

I asked many of the locals if they were interested in accepting BCH, many were just ramping up and very excited to use wallets and merchant apps. The main negative responses I got were from people who feel that "Bitcoin is a scam", or it "can't be trusted" due to volatility and negative mainstream media FUD. I tried to explain to the naysayers that accepting crypto as a merchant is the easiest way to get some coin! Also, many didn't realize that they can cash out immediately to avoid volatility.

The conference brought a LOT of economic growth to Townsville. The small local economy seems to be driven by tourism, mining, oil exploration, and alcohol/gambling. High technology will provide a LOT of growth opportunities there, with some high paying jobs and positive economic growth.

Finally, the development happening on top of BCH is by far the most exciting of all cryptos. CashFusion, SLP tokens, CashScript, CashAccount, and the CashBar app were among the stellar innovations currently hitting the BCH scene, and many more improvements and projects are slated for the next year. It's going to be exciting!

How Blockstream propaganda works. "These things have no relation"

    Posted: 10 Sep 2019 09:03 AM PDT

Ever notice as you discuss the chain of events that unfolded where Bitcoin is stuck at 4 TP and is not aiming to be p2p cash anymore trolls always resort to 1 parroted tactic: "Those 2 things are not related."

    even though:

    • Adam Back was for a blocksize increase before Blockstream got any funding: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DNNSeQzVAAABnmA.jpg

    • Once Adam Back got $55 million from AXA he started fudding against blocksizes increases despite just being for them: https://i.redd.it/dzam0whnhhdx.jpg

    • /r/Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk forums ONLY allowed discussion of SegWit. No blocksize increases. Coincidentally when BitcoinXT was breaching 50%.

    • It's funny how SegWit was voted on by miners with hashpower to activate SegWit. But when 90% of miners voted for the 2MB increase, it was not valid and Bitcoin Core and Blockstream vocally denounced them.

    • It's funny how when BitcoinXT was gaining 50% it wasn't a valid client and was censored all discussions of it. However UASF which was also non-miner voting, was OK.

    • From Bitcoin Core the only people who were pushed away were just the big blockers, Gavin Andresen, Mike Hearn, Jeff Garzik.

    • Brian Armstrong was also for big blocks and as a result he was banned in /r/bitcoin. No comments by /u/adam3us of course. He's never commented why he's happy to communicate in forums that are censored to only allow discussion of Blockstream products.

    • /r/bitcoin which is for Bitcoin discussion often allows discussion of Blockstream's Liquid product, tether and other altcoins. Litecoin was allowed as well during times of congestion as is Grin. Bitcoin Cash posts are only allowed if they are negative in tone.

Blockstream must live in a perfect world as everyone is aligning with them and anti-Blockstream comments are removed. You can't even mention that Blockstream is funded by AXA in /r/bitcoin despite being able to mention any Blockstream product like Liquid.

HonestCoin (USDH), a regulated stablecoin built on Bitcoin Cash, is now available on Cryptophyl.

    Posted: 10 Sep 2019 09:48 AM PDT

    Hey r/btc

I'm excited to announce on behalf of the whole Cryptophyl team, that we have launched USDH trading. Our first market is BCH/USDH (which is currently the only BCH/USDH pair available in the world).

Cryptophyl is a marketplace for trading Bitcoin Cash based SLP tokens.

For those that don't know, USDH is the first regulatory-compliant stablecoin built on Bitcoin Cash, using SLP (Simple Ledger Protocol).

As you can naturally expect from Cryptophyl, we will be holding a USDH airdrop on Saturday 14th September.

    Here are some important facts:

    • USDH set to be a base pair for new listings on Cryptophyl
    • 1500 USDH airdrop to happen on Saturday 14th September
    • Further 1500 USDH airdrop reserved for Cryptophyl Drop token holders
    • Full due diligence report on HonestCoin to be released
    • Airdrop allocation is based on your trading volume starting from now, until the execution of the airdrop at noon UTC on the 13th (your volume towards the airdrop is based on your activity on this pair)
    • You can expect SPICE/USDH, SAI/USDH and DROP/USDH markets to be added soon

    For more information:

Check out our landing page: http://cryptophyl.com/airdrops/usdh-1

    Read the blog: https://blog.cryptophyl.com/blog/announcing-bch-usdh-trading-cryptophyl/

As always please feel free to ask any questions or leave a comment. We love the support we get from this sub and we're very happy to be able to bring a much-needed pair to the ecosystem.

Have a great week and happy trading!

Edit: changed regulated to regulatory complaint

Now it makes sense why Adam Back is panicking

    Posted: 10 Sep 2019 07:51 AM PDT

August 24 I noticed that Blockstream's Adam Back was acting hysterically and seemed to be panicking sending lots of tweets. He has a history of panicking and when he does he tweets a lot of nonsense and also posts to Reddit more nonsense.

    Aug 24 https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/cuta3c/adam_back_appears_to_be_panicking_again_what_did/

At the time I didn't really grasp the situation but now it makes a lot more sense

Two weeks prior to that on Aug 10 a major news event happened - Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. At the time this seemed unrelated but now as more and more news comes out about it the issue seems to make sense why Adam has become more panicked.

The more news comes out the more we learn that the company Blockstream which Adam Back is the CEO of is funded by big pockets like for example Reid Hoffman, DCI / MIT, Digital Garage etc.

Joi Ito resigned recently because of all this and now Reid Hoffman is under the hot seat for also protecting Epstein. It seems as more people are uncovered accepting funds from Epstein and protecting him all the FUNDING that goes into Blockstream from different now tainted sources are being torn apart. I think Adam is panicking because he is seeing things fall apart around him and his company Blockstream

It wont be long before they run out of funding and no more of his pals like Hoffman and Ito are going to be able to fund his company and the BTC Core developers anymore
