BTC I had an amazing time at the Bitcoin Cash City conference. The energy was overwhelmingly positive. The new technology being developed was surprising and inspiring. The people were all passionate, friendly and welcoming. Proud to be part of such a wonderful community bringing BCH to the world.

In order to further my understanding of Bitcoin and the history of BCH and BTC, please explain to me how you would argue against this recent statement made by /u/bashco.

EDIT: Please keep your comments civil in here. If we can't have open, honest, AND respectful debates here in /r/btc then where can we? Can you make your point without resorting to personal attacks and tribal rhetoric?

I know we're still in the early days but I must say that buying things with BCH is getting easier.

I've been in the market for 4TB SSD drive and found the best price on ebay. I wanted to use my BCH to buy it and found a site (eGifter) that accepts BCH via bitpay. This was my first bitpay experience and im impressed. Even the bitcoin.com mobile wallet had functionality built around detecting bitpay transaction and had some extra info on screen for me which was really nice. I go through the bitpay process on the eGifter site, waited about 3 min for the next block to confirm, get my ebay code, go on to ebay and select my item. buy it now, enter code (nervously of course) and click submit. and poof. success... all done. BCH to ebay purchase in about 5 min. Like i said I know this is the early days and some point in the future sites like ebay will accept BCH natively but for now this was pretty cool and wanted to talk about it :)

where can I download a summary of block explorer statistics for the last N blocks without needing to query the raw data from a node

    Posted: 06 Sep 2019 10:55 PM PDT

I'm looking for the sort of data available from a block explorer - block height, size, #txns, etc. Seems like one of the explorer apps would already have this functionality but I can't find one. If there's a low effort way to quickly get this data I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Tether is the primary reason that BTC has such high dominance while being a totalshit coin. It's completely self defeating for exchange.bitcoin.com to support Tether. I won't be using it unless Tether is delisted and replaced by DAI and USDH.
