Posted: 01 Jul 2019 04:48 AM PDT I posted my thread about my EOS getting stolen via a tweaked eos-voter .exe pointed to by a user that was using his account specifically for sharing a link to a fake github link. I take responsibility for my mistake in trusting a reddit comment and not looking at the URL. Crypto related subs are host to a disproportionate amount of manipulation, propaganda and otherwise behavior with intent to harm, deceive or steal. The users /u/menowyou6, /u/michael098764 and /u/etheosbat (there may be more!) have been the reason for multiple successful hacks, as multiple reddit users have reported downloading this hacked eos-voter app and getting their EOS stolen. My thread has been up for a week. I pointed to the user's comment and profile page in my original post with an edit. I asked the mods to remove that person's comments and ban him from the subreddit, and the comments haven't been deleted. The mods have done nothing. The comments remain and people continue to get phished. https://np.reddit.com/r/eos/comments/bw80v7/387_eos_stolen_seconds_after_being_unstaked/ Fake alt saying "thank you" to phishing comment: https://np.reddit.com/user/genesise0s [link] [comments]
Should I start investing in Crypto? If so then which one? Posted: 01 Jul 2019 01:03 AM PDT I want to invest in crypto but am not sure because if it's unpredictability. I'm new to the whole crypto scene and was wondering if it's worth it or not. Bitcoin looks like it's going to go up, but I'm really now sure about putting money into it. If I should invest money into it, how much do I put in? I'm not new to investing and stocks, but I am new to cryptocurrencies. Can any of you guys help me? Thanks [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 06:14 AM PDT Here are some highlights from the Nano meetup at Affy's Premium Grill in Brooklyn, New York! They asked the store manager why they accept Nano, and they also received live donations from all over the world (Germany, Italy, Norway, Texas). That's the power of decentralized, peer-to-peer cryptocurrency! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOlRZd_MmgQ&hd=1 Don't just hodl, spend! Remember the Bitcoin Pizza though, and always buy and replace ;) [link] [comments]

Is there a complete list of all crypto exchanges that allow short positions? Posted: 01 Jul 2019 12:15 AM PDT Every answer I find on google are quite unreliable (understandable since regulations change all the time) As far as I understand so far, - Binance - Bitfinex - Bitmex these 3 allow short positions on bitcoins. What about other exchanges? What about shorting other cryptocurrencies? [link] [comments]
PSA: Do not trade on reddit or anywhere without escrow. u/jfjenson and u/Xylemup are scammers. Posted: 30 Jun 2019 07:49 AM PDT They might even be the same person. This is his other acc where he "trades": https://bitify.com/user/gcking/ Just don't trade without escrow. Use a proper exchange or do it person to person. Don't get burned like me.
