Praise for a well rounded Charlie!

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 06:58 AM PDT

The following from a Yahoo Finance Litecoin article post just an hour ago made me RE-realize something about Charlie:

"Charlie Lee announced in February that they would offer increased privacy with a so-called Mimblewimble update. The announcement has worked in favor of litecoin bulls so far. But unless the real update kicks in, every upside action is appearing to be driven by speculation and speculation only."

Charlie is nearly the perfect balance on all the fronts needed to push a crypto forward. Look at all the other heads of the other crypto projects and you will see some very interesting "front men," that each have serious weaknesses. Not saying Charlie is perfect but he covers the all the bases well. Regarding the potential concern above - my guess is Charlie will have MW update ready exactly when LTC needs it. Cheers!

What's the difference between Bitcoin & Litecoin and why would I want to own Litecoin over Bitcoin or any other crypto for that matter?

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 07:09 AM PDT

I'm not a Litecoin holder but intend on picking some up in the next few weeks because of Charlie Lee meeting Andrew Yang & Warren Buffet, potentially. That being said, I've been hesitant to do so as I don't understand what the projects purpose is or how it stands out amongst the vast sea of worthless tokens. I apologize in advance if this has been asked in this sub before and I'm not looking for any fanboys to shit on me, just a simple question.

Will Libra/Facebook Stablecoin launch help Litecoin?

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 08:20 AM PDT

Remember 2016? When there was so much speculation about Charlie secretly speaking about Litecoin (partnering) with Facebook? I mean you gotta admit, it wasn't so far fetched - Charlie's stomping grounds are literally are almost just down the street in the Bay Area. He has to have bumped into some high up FB folks at the local Starbucks at the very least.

And then there is the Zulu Republic/WhatsApp nexus - was that the "test net," situation for whatever FB will soon launch?

I am hopeful that FB coin entering the crypto space will only help LTC. But I suppose I am also "wishfully," hopeful that Charlie has provided FB direction of some kind...and that there is some sort of special relationship/association role for Litecoin (even if it is just a marketing one alone - that would be huge).

If 2B of FB users start using FBcoin but SEE LTC somewhere in that into - that would be...YUGER STILL. What to people think? Any downside for Litecoin with FBcoin launch?

    I Made a Node....I think

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 12:14 AM PDT

One night a couple months back I got really high and used a Medium guide to make a node. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about Linux to know if it's actually working. It all appeared to be working but the VPS I bought didn't seem to have much load. It was supposed to be working away but it didn't look like the server was doing much.

I have all the login info, I'd really appreciate it if someone could log into it and see if I was successful or not. I really want to help the network grow and if it's just beyond someone like me who doesn't do Linux, I'm happy to give my node/VPS to someone competent.

    Thanks in advance.
