| Young Country radio station 'Powered by Litecoin' Posted: 04 Jun 2019 08:01 PM PDT Yesterday, through one of entertainment's largest circulating outlets (Billboard), it was announced that a new revolutionary radio station created by the man who helped discover and/or cultivate singers Kane Brown, Nicki Minaj, etc...is going to be 'powered by Litecon' for the first two months of existence. They will also be accepting LTC and BTC as a payment option for merchandise and future concerts they hold on their own 15 acre lot just outside of Nashville (max of approximately 10k attendees for a concert). This was carved out of a deal I made with the manager, Jeff Haddad. Both Jeff and the owner of Young Country, Polow, own Litecoin. They are cutting edge and want to see it succeed. The payments portion is not contingent upon continuing the exclusive sponsorship of the radio station beyond 2 months. The 2 months of 'Powered by Litecoin' will total it being said an approximate 8,000 times over 60 days to all listeners. That is a lot of ears hearing the word Litecoin. It will cost $6k per month for a total of $12k. This is a completely LTC community driven endeavor, which has garnered over 36 LTC already through efforts on Twitter (currently worth about $4k). I am asking for LTC Reddit for contributions to help meet the goal of $6k +$6k. The wallet is being held by the LTC Foundation so that it is in the hands of a trusted 3rd party. PLEASE consider giving to this cause, as it has already created additional opportunities for me to meet and inform stars about LTC I would not have otherwise been able to possibly do. You will see the fruits of this soon. The hope is that they will in turn inform their followers of their new love for LTC and crypto. They are not being paid. It will be organic. Below are the two main articles that came out yesterday regarding this, and the owner just did his interview with Rolling Stone today as well. So this is not a flash in the pan act. I am also planning a visit to the station in about a week and a half to meet Mr. Haddad personally. | Found a somewhat large old folder containing Litecoin files on external hard drive Posted: 05 Jun 2019 12:08 PM PDT Found a folder containing all of the .dat files, and another folder about 10GB in size containing blocks / chainstate / database folders. Downloaded Litecoin Core and synced with network and had a balance of 0. Would it make sense with over 10GB in the folders that I would have a balace of 0? [link] [comments]  |
