Maximally trustless merchant payment processing tools/apps/ideas ? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 07:40 PM PDT Context: Looking for a maximally trustless (i.e. serverless), anon, cheap, fast payment verification to implement as a merchant accepting ETH. I'd also prefer to not have to run my own server. Open to ideas as well! [link] [comments]

How the move to Ethereum 2.0 is going to look like from end-user perspective? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 08:47 AM PDT If one is holding some ether in a wallet and some in an exchange, should he/she do anything to move into 2.0? How is this done? [link] [comments]

lokking for a tutorial on token creation and website authentication using that token Posted: 17 Jun 2019 02:50 PM PDT I'm looking for a recent newbie tutorial that helps to create a erc721 token that gives a user that owns one or more of these tokens access to a closed area on a website. preferably using drizzle, ganache and metamask. Any tips here? [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Jun 2019 07:52 AM PDT Would Facebook and others still be able to control the token completely if it was anchored to the Ethereum chain in some fashion? The best of both worlds for FB, full control plus the freedom of developers to build using the token on the Ethereum chain... [link] [comments]

creating BIP39 passphrase off-line using Linux? Posted: 17 Jun 2019 03:00 PM PDT I'm new to ethereum and want to use a "light wallet" on my linux box. I came across the parity light wallet (feather) downloaded the tarball, fired it up, created an account, and moved 0.01 ether to it from a coinbase account. All good. I used feather's account creation tool which gave me a 12-word BIP39 passphrase, but I don't trust anything so would prefer to generate my own passphrase (from the linux command line preferably using output from /dev/urandom). Does anybody know how to do this for a 12-word BIP39? Also, can I trust this parity light wallet? I really would rather not store the entire ledger on this machine. [link] [comments]
