What can a layman do with Ethereum ATM? Posted: 02 Jun 2019 03:04 AM PDT I've got a decent stack of ETH. Let's say 100+, just sitting there and doing nothing. I don't intend to sell it any time soon, so I want to make it work for me or utilize it in a manner that is helpful to ETH development. What can I do with it? Bonus points if you keep it as technically simple as possible. Thanks. [link] [comments]

Loanlist — historical APR for decentralized lending protocols Posted: 02 Jun 2019 10:40 AM PDT Lending protocols allow you to lend and borrow cryptoassets in a trustless manner. As DeFi is evolving, more and more solutions go live on mainnet. Competition is great for us users, but it's getting hard to keep up with the rates that these protocols are offering. So I've made a simple website that pulls DAI rates from Compound, Dharma, and dYdX. I then calculate the monthly and yearly* average. I've also made a chart to see how the rates was changing recently. And that's it! Charts show both lend and borrow rates, and the data is updated on an hourly basis. If you encounter any bugs or have ideas, feel free to share. Here's the app: https://loanlist.io * Well, these apps exist for less than a year, so it's just an all-time average :) [link] [comments]

Finding owner of ethereum address Posted: 02 Jun 2019 06:18 PM PDT Hey, This is a VERY big long shot. I was buying ether and the provider allowed me to scan a QR Code to automatically enter my wallet address. I did so, but the scanner must have been off by 1 character, and my ether got sent to the wrong address. I've contacted support on the provider, but I thought I may as well post here. The address in question is 0xA651042FC47E0C047f941A940845A3C940447982 Thank you [link] [comments]
Are there any known cases of Eclipse Attacks? Posted: 02 Jun 2019 03:53 AM PDT I searched the internet and found a lot of introductions about Eclipse Attacks in general. But I couldn't find any known cases of Eclipse Attacks to popular networks. Did I miss anything? [link] [comments]
Why would a company create an ERC token besides making their own economy? Posted: 01 Jun 2019 10:08 PM PDT I'm having a hard time understanding why a company would need to create it's own ERC token. I understand that Dapps like Choon have used ERC tokens to create their own economy, but what are other real-world examples of companies creating ERC tokens? For example, why would Amazon want to create an ERC token when their "economy" is already based on fiat currency? (this is hypothetical) [link] [comments]
How To Withdraw TheDAO Funds On Ethereum Wallet? Posted: 01 Jun 2019 09:36 PM PDT Hello! I have originally obtained TheDAO tokens through a Wallet Contract. Now, the tokens are stored on the Wallet Contract, and I cannot find any way to convert them to Ether. I am certain that there is a method I could use to convert them, as the tokens still exist on the Ethereum platform and the refunds are still being given to the holders. Please inform me how I could perform this withdrawal transaction. Thank you very much in advance. [link] [comments]
