- I sent LTC to a Litecoin address given to me by my electrum wallet, the problem being that I didn't wait for the wallet to synchronize first.

Posted: 19 Apr 2019 08:48 AM PDT Is my address held for me? did the electrum wallet really select/request/hold that address for me (even though the sync wasn't compete)? Or have I thrown my LTC away to some lucky recipient? And a quick second question, when i go to see the status of how many blocks there are already downloaded (compared to those needed) the number doesn't seem to change, but I'm assuming that it's just not updating until done. Correct? God, I can't believe I didn't see the synchronizing readout before I sent my coins.....now it's time to worry lol Update: I've looked at the LTC transaction on block cypher and it's been 32 minutes (and still no transaction on block cypher, meaning it's there but there are 0/6 confirmations). I would have at least expected the LTC to have been delivered to the said address by now (which is why I'm a little worried). Is this normal for the LTC network to be slow? Or is it behaving this way because the address isn't actually generated yet? Thanks, I'm remaining optimistic Another Update: the blockcypher doesn't even recognize the LTC address I was given by Electrum, it says server error 500 [link] [comments]
coinb.in light wallet and Litecoin Posted: 19 Apr 2019 09:00 AM PDT It seems that [Litecoin functionality](r/litecoin/comments/70k6xf) that was removed from coinb.in a year or two ago due to the 3rd party block API closing down. I've added it back (with chain.so API) to my local fork of coinb.in on GitHub. Will see about asking the coinb.in developer to integrate the change. [link] [comments]
