Question: Where can i buy food with ETH? Posted: 09 Apr 2019 07:05 PM PDT Hey there hopefully I'm allowed to ask this. After paying off all my student loans and just all debt in general I sadly don't have enough to make it til next week, after calculating my public transportation cost to work (~$120/mo). however I do have 0.6 ETH (roughly $105ish USD) i mined back in the day before the price was in the thousands. Is there anyway I can buy food with this or order a pizza? Thankfully I don't have a family and live alone but if anyone knows how to buy food with my eth that would be greatly appreciated. I also live in Chicago not sure if that helps. Thank you!! Edit: If there was a way to buy groceries that would be a lifesaver. [link] [comments]

Lawmakers Reintroduce Token Taxonomy Act Posted: 09 Apr 2019 01:55 PM PDT If you are in the U.S., gear up to support this House bill. It doesn't have a HB number yet, but when it does, I would encourage everyone to get behind it by contacting your local congressional representative. This bill is a game-changer for ICOs, using crypto as a medium of exchange without getting hit with taxes, being able to swap one crypto token into another without getting hit with taxes (as long as the crypto tokens are not being converted to cash or cash equivalents), just to mention a few of the benefits. https://www.coindesk.com/lawmakers-reintroduce-bill-to-exempt-tokens-from-us-securities-laws This bill would likely put the U.S. back in first place as the most innovation-friendly country. Buy CBD (Cannabidiol) with ETH! Posted: 09 Apr 2019 02:18 PM PDT Diamond Venom: A crypto friendly company! Diamond Venom is a cannabidiol (CBD) startup offering premium CBD products online. We are an edgier brand, targeting a more contemporary and sophisticated market, which is why we are introducing ourselves here. CBD is taking the nation by storm since the passing of The Hemp Farming Act of 2018. This act created an extraordinary opportunity to offer Cannabidiol (CBD) products legally in the United States. CBD is one of many cannabinoids found in the hemp and cannabis plant that have various positive health effects on our body. CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system – a series of receptors that regulate pain, mood, the immune system, memory, stress response, and other important functions. CBD is non-psychoactive and will not get a consumer "high", and no lethal dose of CBD has ever been recorded. You can learn more about the Diamond Venom brand and our offerings on our website: www.DiamondVenom.io With the help of Coinbase Commerce, we accept payments through cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Zcash. When going to checkout, fill out the required information and change the payment type to Coinbase Commerce and you will be guided through the steps for paying with the cryptocurrency of your choice. Posted: 09 Apr 2019 09:44 AM PDT Hello, what's the best way to make a cold Ether wallet these days? I haven't created an ethereum wallet in awhile. I went to myetherwallet.com and it is different now. I remember before, when you created a wallet, you generated a private key AND a Keystore file. Now, you can either do it exclusively by Keystore file OR by Mnemonic Phrase OR with MEWConnect (which conveniently doesn't work on my phone). I played around with the new layout and made a few wallets but I notice i no longer generate a private key. Or at least i don't see one? It's just a Keystore OR a Mnemonic phrase now? How do i see my private key? Is it no longer necrssary to have? And yes I also see i could just switch back to the vintage MEW layout, but I would like to do this on an offline device and that unfortunately does not work. Any feedback or tips would be cool [link] [comments]

Trustology makes institutional grade crypto vault for iPhone Posted: 09 Apr 2019 11:21 AM PDT Trutology's Titan M chip, being more secure than the iPhone itself, is currently being worked to be made for Android as well. The way it works is when the is launched, a cryptographic private key is created in the iPhone enclave, followed by bank-grade know-your-customer (KYC) process which ties the non-extractable key to the user's identity. Note that this is not the same key that directly controls the user's funds. It is currently available for the UK App Store for the iPhone.
