Posted: 14 Apr 2019 05:13 AM PDT I just released a dataset (in SQLite3 + tensorflow-datasets format) of snapshots captured every 15 minutes of the status of 9 cryptocurrencies. The snapshots have been captured from 2017-10-26 14:34:10 to 2019-02-25 09:50:02; with an average snapshot captured per day of 95. The currencies monitored are: "BTC", "XRP", "ETH", "LTC", "XMR", "MIOTA", "ZEC", "EOS", and "ETC". URL: https://github.com/galeone/crypto15 The data has been gathered by the opensource algorithmic trading daemon I wrote (still WIP) you can find linked in the dataset page. [link] [comments]

Reporting losses from EtherDelta? Posted: 14 Apr 2019 01:27 AM PDT Is this even possible? Thankfully it wasn't a huge loss but I'd still like to report it on my taxes for the write off although if I get audited is there any way I could prove to the IRS I did lose the money? Because technically there's etherscan.io although who knows if they consider that as some official enough source to prove it. Do I just ignore it and avoid any potential legal trouble or what do you guys recommend [link] [comments]

Restore Parity wallet from Mnemonic? Option not appearing in Parity UI Posted: 14 Apr 2019 10:51 AM PDT Hi guys, the mnemonic restore option isn't appearing in Parity UI for me and MyCrypto/MEW doesn't support parity phrases. They only support their own. Any suggestions on restoring old Parity mnemonic wallets? [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Apr 2019 11:48 PM PDT Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question, but what is the current status of the planned upgrades to Ethereum? Has Constantinople now turned into Istanbul? I read an article which stated: "In order to solve the vulnerability issue, the team decided to have two hardforks, Constantinople and St. Petersburg, both of which would occur on the same block. This first upgrade would implement all five proposed protocols and the second upgrade would either disable the EIP paving way for the vulnerability or downgrade the update. This was later declared successful by the members of the Foundation, with the hardfork taking place on February 28, 2019." Source: https://ambcrypto.com/ethereum-eth-hardfork-goodbye-constantinople-hello-istanbul/ What is a good resource for keeping track of the updates / forks? Thanks for your help!
