    'When delisting Tether?'

    Posted: 25 Apr 2019 07:46 PM PDT

It's been a long time since we dealing with this lack of trust.

In a blockchain environment this is a joke!

Now Tether is facing a serious issue with government.

We saw what happened with Bitcoin SV after big Exchanges worked out in the same agenda.

Tether is bringing so much trouble for the market, so why not?

What is your thoughts about this?

CMC shows USDT still trading near $1 even though NY AG claims $850M has been pillaged. Who the hell is paying $1 for USDT?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2019 04:40 PM PDT

Seriously. This shows how dumb people in this space are. NY AG claims $850M of the USDT supply is a result of fraud and people don't think it effects how much USDT should be valued at.

This is why no one takes crypto serious.

Does anyone think that Bitfinex is going to shut down???

    Posted: 26 Apr 2019 12:49 AM PDT

Serious question as I've seen some comments suggesting this.

This scandal just doesn't seem that significant to me. Yeah it's ugly but compared to the scale of Bitfinex's operations, it just seems like a drop in the ocean. Kind of akin to Volkswagon's emissions scandal. It hurt the company's reputation and caused some legal messiness, but I don't think that anyone was expecting VW to shut down.

Furthermore, it was recently reported that most of the volume on most exchanges is FAKE, and that Bitfinex is one of the few exchanges with actual real volume. I mean, the whole exchange ecosystem is scandalous. This isn't new news.

If I'm missing something here, please enlighten me.

One Good Reason we need mass adoption to decentralized networks: 1) YouTube Is a PissHole.

    Posted: 25 Apr 2019 09:38 PM PDT

    Yeah it is.

I'm not gonna go off on every reason YouTube sucks because most people already know however, here is One example followed by a solution.

    "Fake copyright claims"

New Creators(who created their own original content) just starting to see decent activity will more times than you know be subjected to predatorial Channels that take their videos, post them, then make fake copyright claims on your video.

Here's the ticket - YouTube strictly states "they cannot make the determination of who actually owns the content because they must follow very strict copy right laws, and take down the video you posted.

The only option to an appeal is to post all of your personal information to the people who made the fake claim, and ask them to drop it. Otherwise, you will have to settle disputes in a court. The fake claimers will continue to profit until the case is settled.

Sounds great! However most of these channels are operated out of different countries using proxies. The likely hood of you getting your measly couple of hundred bucks from these people are slim to 0.

It's only worth it if you're already popular, and you have lawyers on standby ready to contact YouTube.

How can they convince YouTube they are a legit company?

Occult organizations or just flat out criminal individuals create off shore business licenses in countries where laws are super lax. Through this legit company info, YouTube has to accept them as a legit business. YouTube doesn't have the jurisdiction to determine that legal information from another country is not legal. They would have to go out of their way and contact the local government in that country for an inquiry. It's up to that government to do an investigation over the matter.

Now , this simply is not feasible for YouTube to go out of their way over every little video that made under a measly $10 in monetization.

So you see, it's a legal loophole that can be exploited. These people know you're not gonna go out your way to get your little monies worth so they will leach pocket change from 100,000 videos. That ads up to millions in revenue. Users aren't going to notice because these videos barely have over 20k views. Any monetization gained from their fake copyright claim is quickly funneled out. Even if you put a complete stop to these people they will most likely have something new already set up doing the same exact thing, then you have to go through the process all over again.

    Good luck

This is appalling at best, and yet another reason to go decentralized.

With decentralization, we can craft almost unbreakable smart contracts that you make before you post content. The criminals would have to bring you to court in order to steal your video, and that's clearly not gonna happen. Especially if these people are floating around in some 3rd world country.

It's a simple concept , no middle man. Just nodes. If nodes exist all over the world. Or "PODS" as diaspora(first decentralized social network) would call it, there's just no feasible way to stop the network . You will always be able to retrieve your smart contract.

One common argument I hear is "well then people can make fake smart contracts and steal your content before you post".

The chances of someone posting your homemade content before you do is almost non existent outside of hacking your PC 24/7.

    That's all.

MASS Adoption. I support every crypto attempting to do this. Even shit coins
