    Bitcoin economic freedom

    Posted: 21 Apr 2019 03:04 AM PDT

So I have seen maps displaying where bitcoin is legal, illegal, neutral etc. But I can not find any information about where bitcoin is economically free.

By economically free I mean free to transact in without restriction. Free to spend without recording every transaction for the tax authorites. Free to spend without having to pay capital gains tax on any gains or losses. Free to spend without being treated like a stock broker or money transmitter that needs licencing.

Basically by bitcoin economic freedom I mean countries that treat the use of bitcoin as if you were using any other form of legal tender.

Is there a map that displays countries ranked by bitcoin economic freedom?

"Inflation is theft" - old discussion but still very valid

    Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:17 AM PDT

This is from 2012 but still very current. You can hear some very good insights why Bitcoin is safer than what the central banks and governments are doing with fiat currency (and the necessary trust behind the fiat). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJgzx88RgEw

"Inflation is theft." (quote from Ron Paul at 3:18) - A dollar has depreciated approx. -98% in value over 100 years. This means people's savings and pensions has been constantly lowered. Rich people know how to invest and evade inflation, but poor and middle class are the ones paying it. And many did not like the US government's financing of wars with their perceived budget capacity.

"I want to legalize competition on currencies..." (quote from Ron Paul at 8:18) - Agred but the competition from Bitcoin and crypto is slowly happening with or without legalization.

The time passed gives a good perspective why budget deficits, debt and inflation will make people trust decentralized crypto more and more.

For those that stack sats using caahapp, can you buy on small chunks daily?

    Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:37 PM PDT

Or are there fees per buy that makes small purchases not worth it? Example: say I want to have a more accurate dollar cost average and instead of buying $700 of bitcoin on caahapp every friday, I decide to buy $100 every day of the week. Is there a downside fee wise to this method?
