BTC is better than Danish Banks. Posted: 17 Apr 2019 09:31 PM PDT In denmark when you put 10k usd into your account the bank will ask you where you got the money from and you will answer it or they will deny it. If they allow the deposit you will be charged a yearly fee for keeping your money at their place. If later you want to withdraw your own money they will also ask you why you want to withdraw so much money at one time. A friend who buys and sells used cars got so tired of the questions that he told his bank 3 times when withdrawing, that he would spend the money on luxury prostitues in Hamburg (German city). The bank dosent think he is genuine so they are considering throwing him out. We really need something to replace this current system [link] [comments]

What are the main differences between the main lightning implementations (Eclair, LND, C-lightning)? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 01:04 AM PDT I'm creating an infographic pointing out the main difference between the LN implementations but have some trouble finding the main differences except for programming languages, different companies and some different products on top (lightning charge, neutrino,...) Posted: 18 Apr 2019 12:26 AM PDT Blocks have UNIX time-stamps determined by the miner. It needs to be greater than the median timestamp of previous 11 blocks and less than network-adjusted time (median time-stamp of nodes) plus 2 hours. This means block times are only accurate within 2 hours. Is it possible to find the network-adjusted time (median time-stamp of connected nodes) for each block? Or is there another more reliable time-stamp for each block? Any advice appreciated :-) [link] [comments]
