Max from Dharma here You can now borrow and lend DAI on Dharma! Posted: 06 Mar 2019 03:37 PM PST Hey r/ethereum The Dharma team is extremely excited to add support for DAI — our users can now borrow and lend DAI from anywhere in the world, instantly, and affordably. Offering support for DAI also strengthens the network effect that's already been built around the asset. Providing a new avenue to borrow and lend DAI — as well as being able to use DAI as collateral — creates additional liquidity and exposes the asset to new users. Dharma is currently being rolled out to a select number of users from our waitlist. If you'd like to experience the magic for yourself, you can sign up here: dharmalever.com [link] [comments]
Is Distributed File hosting really a good idea? Posted: 06 Mar 2019 06:06 PM PST Is a sensorship resistant filesystem like Filecoin really a good idea? If you take a look at the Freenet sub, most people are scared shitless to host a node just because of the amount of illegal content that's in the blob. What's the difference between this and Filecoin or other p2p distributed filesystems? Vitalik had a video a while ago (can't find the link) that showed efficiency vs. feesability for blockchains. At the lease efficient end you had people who needed things like privacy, sensorship resistance and immutability (basically criminals) Where on the more efficient end, the platform would become feesabel for people who just benefit from these things. I think this (might) be the same the above topic, but unsure... Not trying to spread FUD or anything it's just been on my mind for a while. [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Mar 2019 05:11 AM PST Cryptos and Blockchains are your freedom ( Ethereum ) In short, search engines, social media, banks, agents, Loyalty cards, everything that you take for granted by signing your name, warranty cards, Xbox Live, PSN, Apple, Android, booking a vacation, buying gas, and thousands more outthere basically owns you. For life! Digital footprints. Crypto is not about being rich in Fiat, it is something so basic, simply priceless.. If you fail to see this, might as well give all your family members to strangers. Crypto is a wealth beyond what any wealth right now. Personally Ethereum and Dapps will change and give back control to every individuals. Technology is cool. So cool that all of us are paying corporations for them to sell all our datas and habits. [link] [comments]

Check out Alethio's API for transparent Ethereum analytics Posted: 06 Mar 2019 10:03 AM PST r/ConsenSys spoke, Alethio is excited to announce that they're opening up a stable, robust pipeline of synthesized, real-time Ethereum data via subscription API access.
