Stories About People Paying/Paying Others in XRP

    Posted: 28 Feb 2019 04:58 PM PST

So I thought it would be cool if we as the XRP community could create a running list of "use cases" for XRP. Maybe make this a sticky topic that mods monitor to insure only legit stories.

A brief description of who you paid or what you paid for, and how the experience went. Transaction time, fee etc.

I think it would create a really cool visual representation of all of the real world possibilities with XRP. Fire Away!

Can someone please help me better understand the process of how banks will use XRP?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2019 02:45 PM PST

When banks use XRP for cross-border payments/transfers, will it be used like this?

USA Bank, purchases 1,000,000 XRP at $0.30 USD each.

Canada Bank, also purchases 1,000,000 XRP at $0.30 USD each.

USA Bank needs to make a transfer from USD to CAD for $300,000 CAD. So USA Bank sends Canada Bank the 1,000,000 XRP for confirmation that Canada Bank received the equivalent amount of USD.

Is this right or wrong? If it's right, what happens next in the process? And where do purchase there XRP holding's in the first place?

Am I the only one who didn't know which the biggest XRP trading markets are right now?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2019 01:18 PM PST

    Hi,

I was visiting Coinmarketcap and other sites like Coingecko to know if Coinbase pairs where included in their active markets places. I got shocked when i noticed the top 3 active markets pairs are some exchanges I didn't know about before. (ZBG, ZB and BitMax). They are far away from Binance, Bitstamp, Kraken volumes.

    I never heard about them.

Did you know them? Could they someday become new xRapid clients?

Does it now make sense for US XRP holders to move their holdings to Coinbase?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2019 02:19 PM PST

This question applies to US citizens. With XRP now live on Coinbase (excluding some jurisdictions), are holders now open to keep their XRP within a Coinbase wallet (given the "insurance" provided by CB)? I still have all my holdings on my Nano, but I wanted to see what fellow holders are thinking given the recent change, thanks.
