I've personally moved over to ETH for all my trading, etc. How about you? Posted: 17 Feb 2019 06:54 AM PST I personally see no reason to obtain bitcoin over ETH these days. ETH has faster block times and more features. Sure there are more BTC markets but how much longer will that be the case? When are people going to see that ETH is 10 times more useful than BTC? I guess I just got scammed by Hotbit [Warning!] Posted: 17 Feb 2019 05:41 PM PST Yesterday I sent my Unibright (UBT) tokens from wallet.unibright.io to a newly created Hotbit account. It was my bad from the start to avoid doing any research about it. I sent my funds to the address they specified under "UBT deposit address", the transaction was confirmed - and nothing. After sending an e-mail to "support", they insist that the contract address for UBT on Hotbit is a different one. Indeed, etherscan shows it doesn't match the contract address they mentioned on the e-mail... but what does this even mean? Nothing on their website can be found on a contract address at all. I simply followed the instructions they have provided for my account. And the address they have given me does indeed have the tokens: Even though I failed to do my research before trusting their platform, I'm no complete noob to this: I know how to transfer funds to an exchange. I know I followed the steps accordingly, even though they now insist on the whole "wrong contract address" bullcrap. Avoid this exchange! PS: Pretty interesting how this happened during a significant prince increase for UBT, huh? Guess I won't be selling those tokens now! [link] [comments] | ||

Looking for STO to invest in? Check out renewable energy project WindMine Posted: 17 Feb 2019 09:32 AM PST TLDR - WindMine wants to build a wind park in a solid location. Funds will be raised by issuing debt bonds on the blockchain. Project have all needed permits to start construction! Retail investors welcomed! Windmine aims to build a state of the art wind park facility near Baltic sea. The wind park will run 15 latest tech wind turbines with a total capacity of 60 MW. Funds will be raised by issuing debt bonds on the blockchain. Believe it or not, the energy generated from fossils-fuels fulfills 80% of your current energy needs, which includes sources like coal, oil, and gas. This situation has been causing fear among many that we will run out of energy and it can lead to devastating consequences for the global economy. With all this energy production, we are poisoning our air, land and waters. It is clear that this kind of energy production is not sustainable and healthy in the long run, so governments and companies all around the globe are getting heavily involved with renewable energy. WindMine has every needed piece to start the development of wind park. Team has already developed valid tech designs and projects for substation and wind park. We have received environmental impact assessment, land lease agreement and valid building permit to start building. The project has unbeatable superstar location – close to an industrial zone that supplies with development opportunities and open turbine formation towards main wind currents heading from the sea which brings all main characteristics close to an offshore park performance stats, but with an onshore park building expenses. The team behind WindMine, has taken an innovative approach to fund the project, via STO (Security Token Offering) and a token issued on top of the Ethereum blockchain. Token issuing is registered at FMA Liechtenstein making it secure digital asset ensuring protection of token holder interests to the highest existing standards. Please let us know if you have any questions and inquiries. We will be happy to chat about renewable energy and security tokens on our networks: Telegram http://t.me/windmine Twitter https://twitter.com/WindMineEnergy Facebook https://www.facebook.com/windmineenergy Website https://windmine.com Whitepaper https://www.windmine.com/files/WindMine_whitepaper.pdf Pitchdeck https://www.windmine.com/files/Windmine_pitchdeck.pdf [link] [comments] |
