Is Utility a Reason to Suppress Value?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2019 10:20 AM PST

    Hi All,

I am relatively new to XRP and happily purchasing at these prices.

However, I am not new to precious metals. Particularly silver.

It's believed by many gold and silver bugs that the silver price is greatly suppressed/manipulated because if it's utility.

In other words we can't have 120 dollar silver for long (probably its true value), because we won't be able to produce things with it at a reasonable cost.

This made me wonder if the same could happen with XRP.

Mostly just thinking out loud and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

In any case I am acquiring and hodling.

    Cheers.

Proof of key. Does it concern us?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2019 06:31 PM PST

I read up some information on it. It seems like alot of people are going to remove their cryptos from exchange. I thought it was pointing to btc only but it seems most of the other coins r joining in as well. Wont that crash the market? It is good to kill off those shady exchange imo. But the market might take a hit on that and tank. Mixed feeling. Just wanna hear other members views
