XRP treading water as wider Crypto haemorrhages continue

    Posted: 14 Dec 2018 07:24 AM PST

    Afternoon all,

Small anecdote this afternoon that I feel gives an overview / snapshot of where we are at with the run up to the new year.

XRP market cap : £29.5 B BTC market cap: £57.30B ETH market cap: £8.90 B

    XRP Change % (last 12months) : 58.6% BTC Change % (last 12 months): 82.7% ETH Change % (last 12 months): 88.0%

Using the other large Crypto's purely anecdotally, I feel we have come out of this year long bear market quite favourably in comparison to others

    Cheerio!

Do hard forks make BTC inflationary?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2018 05:09 PM PST

With the fork of Bitcoin cash into satoshi version and abc, a lot of the technical flaws in Bitcoin became more apparent to the crypto community. Since there is a last Bitcoin that will ever be mined, I️ believe that's to take place in 2049, there is a fixed amount of BTC and I️t is a non-inflationary asset. BUT, doesn't the perpetual hard forks do nothing more than essentially print more BTC making I️t inflationary??

I've heard many negative side effects that come with a hard fork but never a mention of this, am I️ right or just really high?

Support XRP by supporting Metal Pay

    Posted: 14 Dec 2018 04:30 PM PST

Hey all, long time XRP & Ripple supporter and wanted to gain some more support for XRP via Metal Pay.

They are currently polling for new cryptos to add to their in app purchase, sell and rewards features here

    https://twitter.com/metalpaysme/status/1073255595635949568?s=21

And today is the last day to take advantage of their 200 MTL (approx $50) to sign up.

    https://twitter.com/metalpaysme/status/1073614927334645760?s=21

Please vote for XRP to be added. This will allow easy purchase of XRP inside the FDIC insured account and then will reward both sender and receiver in XRP in addition to their MTL token.

This is a project I have been involved with for some time, it's had its ups and downs but they are growing fast, have real world utility and a bright future, Currently on iOS (Android coming soon) in 34 soon to be 50 states and then Europe.

I think every medium to promote XRP is a win for us. Hope you guys check it out and test out the app.

If 1 drop equaled 1 US cent

    Posted: 14 Dec 2018 06:22 PM PST

How much a single XRP would be worth if a single Drop equaled One cent.

    • 100 US cents = 1 US Dollar
    • 1,000,000 Drops = 1 XRP
    • 100 Drops = 1 US Dollar
    • 1 XRP = 10,000 US Dollars

If 100 Drops = 1 US Dollar, the XRP Market Cap would equal 1,000,000,000,000,000 USD = 1 quadrillion USD

    • Broad Money = 80,900,000,000,000 USD = 80.9 Trillion USD
    • All Global Debt = 199,000,000,000,000 USD = 199 Trillion USD
    • Value of Derivatives market = 630,000,000,000,000 USD = Trillion USD
      • Total Broad Money + All Global Debt + Derivatives Market = 909,900,000,000,000 USD = 9.099 Trillion USD

All values provided have been borrowed from the The Money Project.

There is allot of room for growth.
