Replacement fan for Asus Strix 580 T8G Posted: 20 Dec 2018 11:05 PM PST Hi! I just had a fan blade break on one of my Asus Strix RX580. Does anyone know where I could find a replacement fan? Google isn't of any help unfortunately... This is the model: https://www.asus.com/ro/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-RX580-T8G-GAMING/ The supplier won't honour the warranty, because they say it's mechanical damage. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

It still helps the community to mine, right? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 09:47 AM PST I'm sure this has been answered or explained somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Everyone's like "mining's not worth it anymore" but how are the PoW networks still running with no one mining them? Are the 3 people still mining going to realize their computers are still on at some point and turn off the only remaining mining nodes? Or has the difficulty lowered enough for football-field mining warehouses in Greenland to keep at it? My main question is: it helps your favorite coin if you mine it, right? Or are you helping it more by buying in and putting more money into their market? I know it varies for each coin, but for those folks who care about crypto long-term, what is the best course of action? [link] [comments] |
