    Happy Mooniversary!

On this date 1 year ago, the price of Bitcoin topped at around 20.000$ and 814 billion $ in market cap.

Congratulations to everyone that is still here, great things lie ahead.

Let's hope that next year Christmas talks about Bitcoin will be less awkward compared to what comes next week.

Morgan Creek issued a $1 million challenge to any professional money manager who thought stocks would outperform crypto over the next decade. No one took us up on the offer. Don’t listen to the naysayers. They don’t even believe what they say. Always follow the money

    Will Capitulation Even Happen?

    Posted: 16 Dec 2018 10:32 PM PST

    So just my observation...

Everyone say's the bottom won't be in until capitulation happens. When there is blood in the streets and everyone has given up for good. Well, from everything I have read, I don't ever see that happening at this point.

Everyone I talk to in this space, every post, every comment, is basically still full of hope. The lower it goes, the more people are buying, it seems. 3k BTC? What a steal! 1.2k BTC? I'm loading up! Hell, even if BTC went to $10 I'm sure heaps of people would be taking out mortgages. So really, at this point it doesn't matter how low it goes - the hope is still there. And I don't see that changing unless the whole market went to $0 somehow.

Interested to see at what point people will actually throw in the towel and quit believing?

For reference: I got into crypto in December 2017 and have pretty much known nothing but red, yet here I am a year later and still hopeful. Still believe that these are just cycles and I simply got in at the bad end of one. Also, when you're 90% down, there really is no point cutting losses now. Which is the belief of many it seems. When capitulation?

Blockchain Coworking spaces in your city?

    Posted: 17 Dec 2018 02:43 AM PST

Do you think coworking space for blockchain startups is a viable business idea? I know there are already some hubs in several cities. I wanna create something like chiliZ has in Malta https://www.chiliz.com/blockchaincampus/, but of course something more simple. Also I know another one in Berlin - Full Node (I think they've just partnered with above mentioned space). Please share if you know any cool blockchain spaces in your city, so I could do my research.

What was this sub like pre-2017?

    Posted: 16 Dec 2018 07:44 PM PST

Was every other thread about when the next bull run would be?

Were people talking about the tech?

Was it philosophical in regards to the ideals of crypto?

What was the excitement centered around?

Has it always been at least a little bit about the money?

Was it extremely different or was it kinda the same?

    How did the memes compare?

Same amount of shit coin shilling?

I didn't jump in until December 2017 and needless to say it's mostly been about price. Just curious what this space was like before 2017. Did people constantly talk about when it would go back up after 2014? What were those "dead" years like in between? I'm intrigued
