Posted: 16 Dec 2018 01:29 AM PST Hi guys, In all crypto discussions people are concentrating on Bitcoin and institutional investors or Bakkt Starbucks bitcoin adoption to be catalyst for next bull run (or beginning of the bull run). But what are the chances that some alt gets insane partnerships or gets regulated and gets actual use case and go parabolic? Here are some examples what can happen:

Rant: Stop making sweeping statements to support your bull/bear predictions Posted: 15 Dec 2018 03:50 PM PST You don't know what's going to happen. Stop citing complex topics with a single sentence as a way to support your criticisms or support for bearish or bullish posts. It's arguably the reason why this subreddit has become the bottom of the crypto discussion barrel. [link] [comments]

Understanding IOTA's underlying tech with a visualizer Posted: 15 Dec 2018 11:43 AM PST Many of you will know IOTA is based on a directed acyclic graph (DAG) instead of a blockchain. But to really understand this approach, and the difference with blockchain it can be very clarifying to visit a tangle visualizer such as: Example of a 15 min visualization: https://imgur.com/a/rPguXgo It's really fun to watch. If you're a bit into math you can understand how this model can scale more easily than a blockchain. A blockchain needs bigger blocks or faster processing. The DAG will become wider and will go forward faster (until you reach the bandwidth limits of nodes, after that clustering comes in play). [link] [comments]
