Don't know whether this post is appropriate here, but I'll try.

I've got a Litecoin address with some funds, that start with a "L". The funds from that address need to be transferred to a Litecoin address that starts with an "M".

The "L" address was created before Segwit was activated.

I know the M addresses are convertible into an address that starts with a "3", and I can transfer the funds FROM my L address do both an M address as well as a L addresss, but I'm quite wary of making the transation as one mistake will erase my funds.

Any help?
