Posted: 20 Nov 2018 12:28 AM PST Hi everyone! In the last 2 years, I have learned many thing about crypto world and crypto mining. My small mining hobby turned into small mining farm with 32 gpus and I have started working on blockchain based applications. This industry led me in such good places that now I have different view towards world. Sadly, today is the day I am officially mining at a lost for the first time in last two years. It was a good run, I have made many friends and learned many things from them. But now, it is time to say good bye, at least for a while. I hope you all doing some gainz on mining and can keep mining for a while! Thanks for everything. [link] [comments]

Any other idiots mining BitcoinZ? Posted: 19 Nov 2018 06:53 PM PST Since I've always just been a hobby miner, 8 cards in total, I decided not to sell my gear. I've always been against shit coins but with this downward crypto spiral I don't care about mining the most profitable coin. Saw BitcoinZ one day on whattomine with a silly low difficulty for zhash and decided to point my 200sol at it. Anyone else mining BitcoinZ? Does this project have any future or just a good old fashion shit coin? [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Nov 2018 07:22 PM PST Hey Everyone, I'm fairly new to mining (3-4 months) and I'm having issues with very low hash rates in XMR Stak mining RYO (about 450/mhs each) on my RX 580 Armor mk2 8gb & RX 570 4gb. Both have Micron memory. I have flashed both bios' with Polaris and enabled lock pages. I've also tried running the 580 with dual threads using the settings below, but my hash rate drops even lower. "gpu_threads_conf" : [ // gpu: Ellesmere memory:3920 // compute units: 36 { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 864, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false, "strided_index" : 1, "mem_chunk" : 2, "unroll" : 8, "comp_mode" : true }, { "index" : 0, "intensity" : 864, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false, "strided_index" : 1, "mem_chunk" : 2, "unroll" : 8, "comp_mode" : true }, I've toyed with some overclock settings for both the cards, but nothing seems to be helping. I'm at a loss for what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments]
Is cast xmr Hash Rate Avg shown while mining correct? Posted: 19 Nov 2018 08:06 PM PST Hi everyone i have 5 vega 56 and they give about 1750 to 1790 hash rate on cast xmr but my mining pool, support xmr, report my hash rate in their dashboard 3.3 kh is it possible that cast xmr is not showing my hash rate correctly? i started mining yesterday and cast xmr miner shows 8600 Hash rate Avg. this is urgent. thank you [link] [comments]
