Claiming BCHABC BCHSV after the fork!

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 08:17 AM PST

So this is what happened with me, I had my 2 BCH in my phone wallet by "bitcoin.com", and held them there.
today i decided to transfer them to my wallet in bittrex ( after they allowed the deposit of BCH again) and traded it with BTC.

Im not sure I understand what happened exactly but I want to know if I am eligible for BCHABC BCHSV after the fork? can I claim those coins? if yes, how can I do that? or is it too late because I already traded them? or should I wait after things settle down

Why is BCH (abc) price on bittrex much higher than on binance (0.055 vs 0.045 BTC)?

    Posted: 17 Nov 2018 08:38 AM PST

    • BCH on Bittrex: 0.055 BTC
    • BCHABC on binance: 0.045 BTC

should be the same thing one is buying there, right?

    from bittrex statement:

The "BCH" ticker will remain the Bitcoin ABC chain before the hard fork block. Bittrex will observe the Bitcoin Cash network for a period of 24 to 48 hours to determine if a chain split has occurred and the outcome.

bittrex enabled withdrawals. I bought some BCH and withdrew to check what I was getting: it was on ABC Chain only.

Couldn't find much info regarding BCHABC on binance. Maybe my assumption that it means "BCH on ABC Chain" is somehow wrong?

Any ideas as to why the prices differ so much?

Does anyone know why ABC won't kill SV?

    Posted: 16 Nov 2018 07:13 PM PST

Seems like CW said he will attack ABC chain and kill it. However, I do not know why ABC won't kill SV chain. If ABC want to kill it they are able to do so now.

How can you kill a chain

    Posted: 16 Nov 2018 10:54 PM PST

I'm a little bit confused about this concept of kill the other chain. What I don't understand is : If Craig Wright dork and increase the block size to 128mb, and mine is own version of BCH, the other node of BCH ABC won't accept block with a size like this, so the coin will split and we will have BCH and BCH SV. Can someone explain me how he plan to kill BCH, cause even if win the hashrate war, one day or an other he will implement 128mb block size and if people don't upgrade to is version the coin will split

Some observations about the trolling effects.

    Posted: 16 Nov 2018 10:43 PM PST

There is something which I had observed recently is that...

    1) The trolls are back in huge numbers in the last couple of weeks. I suspect at least some of these Bitcoin Core trolls are the same people as the BSV trolls. Divide and conquer, that's what they wanted to achieve.

    2) Part of the community whom I knew didn't like ABC before are now supporting ABC. The trolls actually pushed people towards supporting ABC, making ABC a bigger community than before. Thanks to the trolling activities from BSV side, more people are supporting ABC than ever.

    3) The people who supports ABC are now more bonded than ever. It seems when you have someone (eg. the trolls) whom you commonly dislikes, people with different opinions are willing to put them aside and start banding together.

    4) The hashwar drama has created a lot of awareness for Bitcoin Cash, making BCH a bigger community than before. The war proves that Bitcoin Cash is decentralized and working as intended (if it's centralized, there won't be a hash war to begin with).

Bitcoin Cash as decentralized peer to peer cash for the world lives on. I don't think crypto is ever going away, and given only Bitcoin Cash is ready to scale for the whole world to use... I have no doubt that we are definitely part of the early adopters. The next 5-10 years is going to be very interesting for Bitcoin Cash.
