Thanks to /r/buildapc, we're stealing this periodic thread idea! Thanks guys!

This thread is for simple questions that don't warrant their own thread (although we strongly suggest checking the sidebar and searching before posting!).

    Examples of questions:

    • What should I mine?

    • Is this build good enough to mine?

    • Which PSU should I get for _____ GPUs?

Important: Downvotes are strongly discouraged in this thread. Sorting by new is strongly encouraged.

Please remember that we're here to HELP you, not do it for you.

Have a question about the subreddit or otherwise for /r/gpumining mods? We welcome your mod mail!

Can I mine xevan algorithm with RX580 gpus?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2018 11:51 AM PDT

Using the crypt0.zone/calulator I've calculated that B-HASH is currently the most profitable currency for my hardware. I've got 9 gpus, all RX580. According to the calculator my hashrate should be 30MHs, but I'm only getting 15Mhs (up to 1.7 from single gpu). Is anyone familiar with this algo/currency? What should be my overclocking settings? Does it make sense what I'm doing or should I just go back to mining ETH, ETC like currencies?

EDIT: My bad, the 15Mhs is the right value. I was looking at the wrong place.
