    Good MOOC/videos on cryptography

I learned a lot from Prof. Christopher Paar's cryptography course in YouTube and Prof. Dan Bone's Cryptography I course in Coursera.

Are there other such high quality, may be a bit more advanced, crypto courses online ?

Is NTRU / LIBNTRU safe from quantum attacks?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2018 09:24 PM PDT

For context, I'm just a paranoid geek and I'm not the best at math, therefore I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to the math behind crypto.

I've been looking into what quantum resistant algorithms we can deploy and a name that comes up a lot is NTRU, but I've read that NTRU is actually still somewhat vulnerable to Grover's algorithm. I'll post my sources below, but I want to see what r/crypto thinks.

Is NTRU safe from quantum attacks? If not, what other alternatives are there?

    Relevancy of group-based cryptography

    Posted: 03 Oct 2018 06:25 PM PDT

Title pretty much says it all. I was wondering how relevant group-based cryptography is to the eyes of the industry. Mathematically it is a very interesting subject, but I have no idea if such methods are actually implemented.

What math classes and courses should I take to pursue my lifelong goal of breaking RSA?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2018 02:41 PM PDT

No promises, but before my 80 or so years are up and my heart stops and I rot into poopy slime, I want to accomplish a total break of RSA and give this to the world.

What level of education and math knowledge would I need to know to start trying? Professor level knowledge? Self-study (like einstein did as a child)? A major? High school diploma? More?

Knowing would help give me a sense of purpose through my years of education and give me a clear path of objectives, as I have as long as my heart beats to solve this problem.

    Implementing ECDSA/ECDH with P-256 and P-384 curves

    Posted: 03 Oct 2018 07:48 AM PDT

Can you recommend good materials or code sources which will help in implementing them from the scratch? (if you are interested the target language is Rust) Also it would be nice to know common implementation pitfalls.

I know there is a fiat-crypto, which was merged into BoringSSL, but IIUC it only implements low-level operations. (I guess I'll have to look into BoringSSL code)
