    Sudden drop in price...!?

    Posted: 10 Oct 2018 07:14 PM PDT

I ask myself this all the time.. whenever it happens.

Why does the price of the entire market literally look like it has just fallen off of a cliff?

No news.. no FUD.. no idiots screaming.. but the entire market just literally goes down 10-20% for what seems no reason.. why does this happen?

I'm asking honestly... I've been into crypto for a long time.. I just don't get it!

Anyone that feels like filling me in... besides the fact that I'm an idiot.. please, feel free! None of this makes any sense whatsoever..

    Good luck out there!

I don't care about price anymore, my dentist accepts crypto.

Stop looking for farfetched reasons. This is clearly the culprit

I'm so disappointed how crypto prices reacted to yesterday's stock market "crash"

    Posted: 10 Oct 2018 11:28 PM PDT

I like to invest into crypto because I see it as an alternative to the traditional financial system. I hoped when this economical bubble we are currently living in deflates, some money is going to stream into crypto and it's going to get stronger.

But today we could see the exact opposite. The Dow Jones Industrial Average had one of the biggest drops this year and crypto prices followed. While other alternatives to fiat, like gold, had a really good day. I understand that most of the money in crypto is just speculation and everyone just keeps treating it as the "more volatile stock market". But I would be lying if I said; I was not a bit disappointed that the original idea and community around crypto faded away. Nobody is going to want to buy bitcoin if we have a new recession, everyone is going to be running away into safer assets.

And what is a decentralised asset worth if nobody trusts it?

Many people are often confused between coins and tokens. So what are ERC20? What do they do? And why they are so crucial for the Ethereum economy and the crypto market as a whole

    Posted: 11 Oct 2018 01:58 AM PDT

DOW falls. Bitcoin does not respond at all. That's the most promising thing you'll see all year.

    Posted: 10 Oct 2018 02:31 PM PDT

These swings from either side without the other corresponding show how little correlation there is between these two asset types.
This is great. It means that crypto is it's own thing. It's not propped up by anything else and it's not held down by anything else. An asset type that doesn't respond positively or negatively to other asset type is something very unique.

    EDIT: FML

ElementsEstates / Events in Dubai, London & Malta - Pre-sale announcement!

    Posted: 11 Oct 2018 02:34 AM PDT

Elements Estates has started to attend several big events and business meetings in Dubai with Agora Group, business and private meetings in London, Delta Summit event in Malta.

During these events and meetings, Elements Estates team has met some very serious and promising private contributors. We are currently in numerous negotiations with them and we want to use these opportunities to its fullest potential. The amount of positive feedbacks from the meetings was tremendous and we want to make sure to give enough time for follow-ups and opportunities to further discussion in order to raise as much capital as possible in the private sale.

Because of these big opportunities, Elements Estates has chosen to postpone the Pre-ICO sale and the Crowd sale a month further (pre-ICO will start 17/11/2018 - 26/11/2018 and Crowd sale will start 29/11/2018 - 19/12/2018).

Made a Cryptocurrency Wiki, since Bitcoin Wiki is censored and didn't cover intertwined connections, which to me is very interesting

    Posted: 11 Oct 2018 03:56 AM PDT

I know today hurts us in our portfolios but hey, let's focus on building the ecosystem instead of focussing on price drops like the ones today.

This collection of information started out as a way to aid my own memory since there is so much happening in this crypto space. Can't remember every technical term, name and connection, right?

    https://zdl-crypto.wikia.com/wiki/ZDL_Crypto_Wiki

Some of this info is not necessarily my own opinion plus I have tried to stay as neutral as possible.

The wiki is divided in 4 sections:

    Jargon/Various

In which you will find explanations on often used terms and slang. Stuff like Whales, UASF's, what a nonce is and many Proof-of's).

    Coins/Tokens

A long list of many cryptocurrencies and all the info I have come upon. Big ones like Bitcoin) and Monero). And smaller ones like FlorinCoin) or Veritaseum). Scams are also warned for.

    Companies/Organisations

The many groups and projects that circle around this Crypto mania. Exchanges like Kraken, wallets like Jaxx, see all the intertwined links a company like Digital Currency Group has. But also big known names like Google and Microsoft have a lot of links with crypto projects these days.

    People

Where you can read that Jesse Powell played Magic the Gathering with Roger Ver in highschool or how many projects Anthony Di Lorio is involved in. Get to know Steven Nerayoff, a man who advises at least 9 projects.

Like I said, it started out as just something I made for myself, but grew, and now friends and also anons use it to quickly check something out or refreshen their memory.

I am only human, so if there are mistakes, or something that is outdated, or is missing, hit me up or help out!

    Found this helpful?

You might wanna check out my Medium account, I made a couple pieces to help out new beginners, stuff like and introduction to Crypto, how to accept crypto in your own business, and also a checklist to use before you invest into a coin. They were made back in early 2017, so some information might be a bit dated, but they have helped out many people I met at meetups and stores or online.

Have a good one fellow blockchain fanatics!
