Nicholas Merten on Twitter: “It’s really sad to see people accusing me of getting paid or “selling my soul” in crypto by simply taking a photo with Roger Ver. I don’t mean to insult anyone or start conflict, but the sheer disconnect and tribalism of some who’ve joined crypto post-2017 is surreal.”

Was trying to reach out to eatBCH for possibly teaming up and donating (or any other bitcoin related cause for good). I think it would be cool exposure, help a good cause, and perhaps good PR for everyone involved. Let me know if there's anyone you guys recommend! PS: Watch the trailer on KS - it's worth it.

Reminder: Cobra-Bitcoin the co-owner of Bitcoin.org admits we would have won a Nakamoto Consensus style hash war for big blocks on Core: "they tricked you because BU was building momentum and instead they made you altcoiners before you could actually hard fork...they shoved segwit down your throat"

I was sent free bch - but I don't share my address anywhere. Is someone randomly tipping people?

    Posted: 07 Oct 2018 07:57 PM PDT

    Hi Guys!

Basically what the title says. I don't actually share my address with anyone and it's offline... so not sure why I was sent bch from this address: 1HTa1RDtt7JTeJup3nj4wo2PeecXpz7Wmr who looks to be tipping a whole lot of people... should I be concerned?

    Thanks for your help :D

Nakamoto Consensus doesn't work on a minority chain when 2 chains use the same hashing algorithm.

    Posted: 08 Oct 2018 12:21 AM PDT

There is nothing stopping BTC miners pointing their hash at BCH. When Satoshi talked about hash voting, he was talking about one chain. We already broke the "longest chain" voting mechanism when we forked and survived with minority hash.

PSA: A miner, big or small, is free to download ANY client they want and direct hash to ANY pool they want. If I (miner) stop liking a client, I just switch. In the process of uninstalling client A & installing client B, I vote (for B) with CPU. This is Nakamoto Consensus, just common sense.

Does anyone know the derivation path for blockpress seeds? I sent a message to them over a month ago but no reply.

I see activity there but hear no one talking about it. What's up with blockpress these days?

First impression crypto trip in Rayong, Ban Saray, Pattaya.

    Posted: 07 Oct 2018 10:01 PM PDT

Rayong & Bang Saray, found no merchant who accepts crypto.

    Pattaya:

    • restaurant A, success with bitcoin and 0 confirmation. But procedure is "strange". First the manager make a picture from my wallet and the bill for send to her boss. If accepted, the boss send QR CODE to the manager. After scan QR code and "pay", payment accepted by restaurant.

    • Restaurant B, no success. Restaurant uses Bitpay. When I scan the QR code, wallets crash. Can not pay with crypto. Than I remember that for Bitpay, you need wallets accepted by Bitpay. All my wallets, not accepted by by Bitpay. Installed Bitpay bitcoin wallet, will go back. Only option Thai Baht.

    • Restaurant C, no success. Cook is for 1 month on Holliday, only drinks, no food.

    • Restaurant D, no success. Manager was not in the restaurant, only he can create QR code. Only option Thai Baht.

    • Back to restaurant B, no succes. Specially installed and funded Bitpay wallet. Now Bitpay app from restaurant refused to start up. Manager tried all, but after logo from Bitpay, black screen. Again, Thai Baht.

    Conclusion:

This morning I have empty 1 wallet and exchange today back to Baht. I will try again restaurant B, but using crypto is not really comfortable, even when restaurants say we accept crypto, Baht is are a much better option.

    PS:

Restaurant B, with Bitpay, accepts BTC & BCH.

Restaurant A, C and D, accept BTC, BCH, ETH and DASH.
