    Held since December last year. Plowed a lot of money into XRP since. Watched this subreddit produce more regular positive news and some little spikes along the way but recently I feel like it's the calm before the storm. Like I'm going to wake up one morning and we're at $5.00 overnight. It feels like it's ready to pop doesn't it?

    Anyone else feel the same?

    Recirculated information is natural in a community filled with honest optimists playing a stagnant waiting game.

    Every time an article is published and linked on this subreddit, several of the top comments are "old news". First, and this one is obvious, not everyone has heard the information. Second, this community is growing. Some of these articles are written by journalists new to the XRP community who want to spread the information that they've taken in with their fanbase.
    To be honest, a lot of people are here to make money. So why shit on people sharing information that is new to them? We're all waiting for the pop-off and none of us know when that will truly happen. But we are optimistic and genuinely believe in the future of monetary exchange through the use of Crypto technology. Since there isn't major news every single day of the week, the sub gets kinda slow at times and could definitely use a morale-boost in the form of old-but-good news.

    I love this community. I'm just disappointed in some of those who see similar news titles more than once and feel obligated to drop bombs in the form of ill-written comments aimed at excited individuals posting new-to-them information. People don't post articles here for karma, they do it out of a desire to inform or out of genuine Christmas-morning excitement. If they wanted karma they'd be in meirl or something.

    Ripple, RippleWorks, Coil, PolySign, Cryptocurrency Coalition to Pay D.C Lobbyists The coalition plans to pay Klein/Johnson about $25,000 a month and 10,000 XRP. Klein said his firm will convert the XRP price into dollars when it discloses the payments on federal lobbying forms.

    The only mention of Ripple is in the source comments on page 9, but a worthwhile read nonetheless. It amazes me that for a paper published THIS MONTH (September 2018), there are no further mentions of Ripple and/or XRP, particularly on page 15.

    Given this paper is posted via the London Stock Exchange, it will likely have a wide audience.

    Any thoughts welcome.

    Is There Any Clarity Regarding Whether JPMorgan's Blockchain is a Ripple Competitor?

    After the recent JPMorgan news of its Ethereum-based Quorum blockchain for cross border remittances, and having 75 banks signed up to test it, is there any more forthcoming information as to whether this is a competing product to xCurrent?
