Posted: 15 Sep 2018 04:35 AM PDT https://github.com/ripple/rippled/releases/tag/1.1.0 "The rippled 1.1.0 release includes the DepositPreAuth amendment, which combined with the previously released DepositAuth amendment, allows users to pre-authorize incoming transactions to accounts, by whitelisting sender addresses. The 1.1.0 release also includes incremental improvements to several previously released features (fix1515 amendment), deprecates support for the sign and sign_for commands from the rippled API and improves invariant checking for enhanced security. Ripple recommends that all server operators upgrade to XRP Ledger version 1.1.0 by Thursday, 2018-09-27, to ensure service continuity." [link] [comments]  |
| Friend wants to send me money so I can buy for him Posted: 15 Sep 2018 03:27 PM PDT He has a credit union and I'm gonna be using my BB&T account to buy them on Uphold for him. Is there anything I should be aware of in the area of its a credit union not a bank so it may not be as quick as bank to bank? Also I know he needs to get a wallet so I can send them to him when I do finally get them but I'm more concerned with a union to bank. He wants to send me the money over Facebook messenger which is fine bc I've sent money to friends like that before so I know it's ok. Any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

Behind every single SWIFT transaction there is a banks guarantee/gold reserve, so behind any single SWIFT transaction/bank transfer, theres a psysical value behind, so his question is, what are XRP's underlying value [link] [comments]  |
