    Posted: 13 Sep 2018 09:06 PM PDT

Thread topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Discussion related to recent events
    • Technical analysis, trading ideas & strategies
    • General questions about altcoins

    Thread guidelines:

    • Be excellent to each other.
    • All regular rules for this subreddit apply, except for number 2. This, and only this, thread is exempt from the requirement that all discussion must relate to bitcoin trading.
    • This is for high quality discussion of altcoins. All shilling or obvious pumping/dumping behavior will result in an immediate one day ban. This is your only warning.
    • No discussion about specific ICOs. Established coins only.

If you're not sure what kind of discussion belongs in this thread, here are some example posts. News, TA, and sentiment analysis are great, too.

    Margin Lending

    Posted: 14 Sep 2018 09:27 AM PDT

I'm not skilled enough to even attempt trading... but, I have a few BTC that I'd consider lending on Poloniex. I've never done margin lending before so apologies in advance if I sound dumb.

If I post up a loan offer for 1 BTC at .005% for 3 days does that mean that each day that 1 BTC gains .005% in interest? In other words at the end of the loan term of 3 days I would have about .0015% more BTC than I started with (minus Polo fees)?

How Important is 100B Market Cap for Bitcoin.

    Posted: 14 Sep 2018 04:00 AM PDT

    Hi traders,

Since at least February, large players have seemed dead set on defending the 100 Billion Market Cap mark for Bitcoin.

Shorting Bitcoin on Bitmex has now become a crowded trade but twice before shorts got squeezed, retail traders got liquidated and 100B has held.

How important is 100B Market Cap for Bitcoin? Is it the bottom?

    What say you traders?

    New Standard Of Bitcoin Merchandise!

    Posted: 13 Sep 2018 11:56 AM PDT

    Dear Bitcoin Community

We just opened a crypto merchandise store. We are aware that we are not the first and only ones on that market. But since we have been fans of the crypto scene for some time now, we have always bought crypto merchandise articles from different stores. We only stumbled on websites, that had low-quality shipment and their range of products was quite small and bad quality. That's where the idea for our store comes from. Since we have been running an e-commerce company for some time, we were convinced that we have the necessary know-how and contacts to build a reputable and high-quality store with a large selection of different products only focusing on crypto. We can already say that we have the widest range of crypto merchandise products on the market. Moreover, our products are of the highest-quality, produced in the USA.Currently we offer merchandise for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Iota. Our offer consists of: Sweatshirts, T-shirts, longsleeves, mugs, laptop sleeves, phone cases and many more.

If you are interested, just drop by: https://thecryptomerch.com/

We hope you like our work and wish you all a nice week.

    Regards,The Crypto Merch Team.
