Some of you that are new over the past year or two might view cryptocurrencies only as an investment vehicle just like any other stock, but this view is misplaced. The foundations of the entire future financial system, the way we think and use 'money', are being formed right now. This will be bigger than you think.

It astonishes me how ignorant Lightning proponents are. Not only of how onchain Bitcoin works, but also of how Lightning works. Are they really that ignorant? Or just blatantly deceptive?

Bitcoin Cash Stress Test Goes Beyond 24-Hours Setting New Records

PSA: There has been a lot of misinformation and FUD being spread. Today I was reminded of the importance of DYOR!

    Posted: 05 Sep 2018 05:05 PM PDT

I have to admit, I thought I had a fairly good grasp on everything BCH as far as the technology/white paper/Blockchain ect... I mean as much as a "normie" can be expected anyways. However in the past couple weeks with all this CSW/Jihan/BitcoinABC/Possible Chain Splits/nChain blah blah blah... it all got quite confusing and the FUD started to take its toll. Until I realized that I haven't been doing my part, I have been reading too much Reddit and I haven't "Done My Own Research"!
So off I went into Internet land to see what I could learn and I stumbled on this CoinGeek Conference Interview with Craig Wright, Roger Ver and Jihan Wu. After listening to this....all the FUD is gone. What I learned is that Bitcoin Cash is only going to get stronger because competition is good. When running, it is proven that you will always run faster if someone else is running behind you and is starting to catch up to you. Competition provides an environment for growth and higher achievements! The fundamentals of Bitcoin Cash will always remain regardless of a chain split. The foundation has been built and recently tested with the BCH community Stress Test. Just because there is healthy debate as far as where to proceed into the future development on top of those fundamentals is only going to provide a new opportunity to see what works best.

    May the Best Chain Win!!!

My RES tags make the thread completely spotted. And the apparent vote manipulation has definitely ramped up.

Make your own jugdment. RES really helps over time to make one's own jugdment, you have to try using RES yourself for a while and see. It's eye opening how clear things become after a while. Here it is: r/enhancement. It lets you not only tag them but also writing a note in the tag (which RES allows for) and picking different colors. I also always write a number between 1-10 for how much chance I believe the user might be a fake user rather than a real person.

The paradox of the Übermensch: latest CSW mind-barf is pretentious, megalomaniacal gibberish

Bask in the wit and benevolent wisdom of your new overlord my friends. Bask in it:

"It is simple to be disappointed with the common person."

"The moment of the comments in the words lost to the 'herd' clamouring to be accepted remains now as it was when I authored a manifesto very different to the philosophy of Sartre days after the death of my best friend, David Kleiman."

"The irony in the creation of an idolatry for a creator seeks to askew veneration is lost on those who cannot read between not only the lines but the text itself."

"I know how, not viscerally better deep technical level to sign using a digital signature formats such as ECDSA."

"If you think I will give you the answer that you wish, I disappoint your vaguarity and inability to provide more than the indefinite nebulousness of an unclear and undefined desire."

"To understand is not to look eternally, but, to equate a depth that is warranted for the outcome you require."

TLDR: Craig chooses not to prove he's Satoshi but he really, really wants you to believe that he is. Also, he is Very Smart and you are super dumb.
