Posted: 30 Aug 2018 05:05 AM PDT https://xrpcommunity.blog/web-monetization-has-begun/ The advertising model of web monetization has been around since the birth of the Internet, and has resulted in a sustained attack on privacy for those of us that use any form of technology. Web Monetization promises to change all that, as it gives content creators and application developers a different option: an automatic, seamless, pay-through-browsing option. Even though it sounds crazy, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟𝐟! In addition, I cover all the major crypto news and developments related to XRP, including some high-profile upcoming conferences, exchange news, and updates to the XRP Tip Bot. I hope you enjoy this latest blog! Thanks & Sincerely, -Hodor [link] [comments]
Concerns about Coil data collection Posted: 30 Aug 2018 09:46 AM PDT There is an excellent chat discussion on XRP chat about Coil https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/26708-concerns-about-coil-data-collection/ I think it is worth a read as the poster has done some good research. [link] [comments]
International Remittances from Canada Posted: 30 Aug 2018 10:42 AM PDT Just some thoughts and information on international remittances out of Canada. Given the fact that Toronto is the 4th most populated city in North America (yes, bigger than Chicago and Houston) and that it is often given the title of most diverse and multi-cultured city in the world (over 51% of residents come from a different country) – if some of Canada's big banks and remittance companies are presently using xCurrent for international remittances, correct me if I'm wrong but there could be the potential for Canada to generate some serious xRapid volume in the near future. According to Pew Research Center, Canada sends out 24 billion in remittances each year. The US has a population 9X bigger than Canada's – so on a per-capita basis, Canada's 24 billion is significantly more than the 138 billion in remittances coming out of the US. Pew Research has a very cool website which shows remittance volumes into and out of most major countries – see http://www.pewglobal.org/interactives/remittance-map/ If I had a stake in one of the larger Canadian exchanges that has a direct XRP/CAD pairing (Coinsquare, NDAX, Uphold), I would be focusing on developing partnerships with the large Canadian banks (RBC, BMO, CIBC, TD) and knocking down the doors of Ripple HQ offering to do whatever it takes to become the preferred Canadian corridor for xRapid. Posted: 30 Aug 2018 09:23 PM PDT With plenty of people preoccupied with network fees (and coin v coin wars), I'd like to show you the two more important factors when sending crypto abroad. Namely:
These MUST be taken into account, to truly assess the cost of a crypto remittance. With this is mind, I set out to build a way to compare:
The result is Money.Style, the world's first crypto remittance search engine, and your on-ramp to saving when sending money worldwide. See for yourself, the savings are remarkable. It's even possible to make more money than you send on some routes. Let's make this commonplace, and free people from an expensive and restrictive financial system. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Aug 2018 08:25 PM PDT If a coin like dogecoin can still draw a big number of traders and make the price go up.a coin with not so many uses, Imagine what xrp would be capable of when financial institutions begin using it¡! [link] [comments]
Will XRP behave just like BNB? Posted: 30 Aug 2018 11:37 AM PDT So I was on the xrp chat room and somone was talking about binance. This made me think about how binances coin( BNB) operates the same way that xrp will operate once xrapid starts being used. From what I see on bnbs chart it mostly moves sideways at the general range of 10-15$ do you guys think xrp will behave in the same fashion? [link] [comments] |
