| question/opinions : risers. which ones do you like/use/why Posted: 09 Aug 2018 10:44 AM PDT as the title suggests. personally i have a mix of red sata ones (when i started, they were cheap, nasty but did the job and still work now) the blue ones with the pcie for the power slots and these white ones which i am developing a liking for got a few of them now. these are great. they accept pcie/sata/molex and they come with the angled usb pcie slot thingy that goes into the mobo. VERY USEFUL for tight builds (i'm making a whole load of wood frame rigs/exercising my woodworking/design skills lol) and generally they just work and are of reasonable quality. i like the option of different power inputs. gives you flexibility when building a rig, something which i find is very important and underrated. what do you think? yes/no? downvote me?
