Posted: 31 Aug 2018 08:16 AM PDT Does anybody have experience or has heard something about good mining colocation centers in Europe? I am looking to set up a small farm and was hoping for some feedback, dos and don'ts, companies to avoid or companies that offer a nice service, etc. [link] [comments]
GPUs showing as 'not working', Exclamation Mark In Device Manager Posted: 31 Aug 2018 05:31 AM PDT Hi guys, running a celeron on an MSI B370 mobo. Right now, I have a GTX 1060 and an RX 570 running in my rig. If I plug in the third card I have -- an RX 480 -- it always shows as not working properly in Windows (status code 43). I've tried reinstalling the drivers, using different slots, and setting things up in the BIOS ( enable 4g decoding, gen 1 pci-e, disable fast start) but no dice. 480 always shows as not working. Thoughts? [link] [comments]

How to sell a farm with 572 nVidia 1080 TI (and more) GPUs? Posted: 30 Aug 2018 05:53 PM PDT Last year I raised about $500k to create a GPU mining farm with mostly 1080 TIs and some 1080 / 1070 TI / 1070s. I've got a lot going on in my life, and unfortunately am dealing with the aftermath of a serious injury, which is making it difficult to focus on the farm. I love it and am bullish long-term, but in case something happens to me, I think it's better for me to sell it or liquidate it now and pay back my investors. I've got really inexpensive power and cooling locked in at a data center for 3 years. I built my own cases and they are on server racks. I have server grade PSUs and enterprise grade PDUs with remote rebooting. I am running all ASUS motherboards with risers, 8 GPUs per machine. Any ideas on how I should go about finding a buyer or selling it off? Thanks my Reddit friends! [link] [comments]

Issue getting 5 cards working again Posted: 30 Aug 2018 04:10 PM PDT I finally finished one of my rigs and decided to add 4 more gb's of ram just to top it off. I installed the ram and ever since that time can't get all 5 cards working together again. I can get any 4 working but not 5. I've changed risers, deleted drivers, reinstalled, plugged one riser in at a time, ect., changed location of cards. (one on mb it's self and the rest on risers using something similar to this https://www.sairetail.com/?product=pcie-1-to-4-pcie-16x-riser-card-pci-e-1x-to-4-usb-3-0-pci-e-riser-adapter-port-multiplier-card-for-btc-bitcoin-miner-mining. That isn't the exact model but couldn't find the one I have. I even took the ram out and hooked it up how I had it before installing ram and still can't get it back. Any helpful tips I could try is appreciated. The mining is rough these days and I need that extra .20 cents a day. [link] [comments] |
