[Altcoin Discussion] Friday, August 31, 2018

    Posted: 30 Aug 2018 09:06 PM PDT

Thread topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Discussion related to recent events
    • Technical analysis, trading ideas & strategies
    • General questions about altcoins

    Thread guidelines:

    • Be excellent to each other.
    • All regular rules for this subreddit apply, except for number 2. This, and only this, thread is exempt from the requirement that all discussion must relate to bitcoin trading.
    • This is for high quality discussion of altcoins. All shilling or obvious pumping/dumping behavior will result in an immediate one day ban. This is your only warning.
    • No discussion about specific ICOs. Established coins only.

If you're not sure what kind of discussion belongs in this thread, here are some example posts. News, TA, and sentiment analysis are great, too.

    Fractal craziness: 1min to >1year!

    Posted: 30 Aug 2018 10:35 PM PDT

I was clicking around on Bitcoinwisdom (don't know why I still use that site instead of Cryptowatch, but hell) and on the 1 minute chart, I found that it looked eerily familiar. Literally just like a single full Bitcoin bubble cycle.

I juxtaposed it next to the late 2017 and late 2013 bubbles and their subsequent bear markets and recoveries, and the resemblance is a little more than uncanny.

This sort of comparison is notably bearish, but I'm not. Just thought the pattern was super recognizable even on such a tight time scale. Spooky! Still holding some from the $700s here myself, and it's been a roller coaster.

We built an arbitrage platform to track and automate Bitcoin arbitrage opportunities. Let us know what you think and receive 10 XRP.

    Hi /r/BitcoinMarkets,

We posted a few weeks ago and got some candid feedback on the best way to implement arbitrage as a retail platform.

We have since enhanced our platform to allow tighter controls of exchange fees and track the daily spreads to help you make a more informed decision of which pair to arbitrage.

Additionally, we just passed our third party security testing and rolled out support for Bitfinex.

Take a look and let us know what you think, spread checking will always be free on our website.

    Cryptos: https://cryptosarbobot.com

Finally, if you have 4 min to spare, we are offering 10 XRP .001 BTC for a short survey about potentially rolling out a mobile app that allows you to place trades across exchanges.

    Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VTHYGTV

Remember to leave your BTC / Ripple address and destination tag in the survey comment box!

Let me know if you have any questions! Chances are if you want a feature we can build it.
