Posted: 05 Aug 2018 03:52 PM PDT as soon as you open the app it prompts for an in app purchase, and if you have your finger on the fingerprint scanner, it will go through. i didnt get tricked by it but i easily could see it happening and this is a glaring exploit in the in-app purchase system. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blnance-crypto-widget/id1405027191?mt=8&app=itunes&ign-mpt=uo%3D4 Just because I'm bored and have resources available to me, if anyone manages to find a way to contact the developer, or finds his country of origin, i would love to inform him of the evidence i have collected and my plan to go to his local authorities. He faked a bunch of good reviews because all you can see is 1 star ones when you look. Over all watch out for any cryptocurrency application that requests permissions for any of your online accounts, especailly appleid, google account, microsoft account, dropbox, etc. and if it wants you to make an api key on an exchange, run the other direction. i find joy in bringing scammers work up to their face and watching them squirm as they realize they're not so anonymous after all. in most countries this legitimately would be an illegal theft by deception and i am going to try to attain prosecution against him or her. i recently helped provide info to get a bitcoin bandit using sim swapping arrested, you may have heard of joell recently. we need to provide the entire case to the prosecution because they are typically lazy and dont understand shit but if everytihng they need lands in their lap then they are happy to be the hero. took many fbi calls before i got in contact with someone who wouldnt write me off as any ole cryptolocker victim or related. Responsible community assistence in unmasking and following the proper protocols is important in discouraging scumbags. plus i get a hedonistic sense of satisfaction watching shitty people realize that they are going to face legal repercussions and have a pretty shitty first page google results for their name. p.s. Been scammed and have some info to begin working with (email, phone, name, ip, etc), i will provide my personal investigative services for free and report to the proper authorities. i wont dox people for you and will give you censored info unless your situation meets a threshold of legitimacy (police report, some evidence of an attempt at recovery). **HEY LY THAO, HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR SOME ATTENTION** *ly thao is a public figure as he is representing the organization's public facing entity. i am not doxing and do not intend to publish any further info that could be seen as doxing on this platform. Posted: 06 Aug 2018 02:52 AM PDT Hi, I apologize if this is inappropriate to ask but I really need help. I sell digital adult content and got a BitCoin wallet with edge. A customer submitted a payment but I cannot see it yet. I know the transfer can take hours. He sent me a screenshot of the transaction, my address seems to be correct and is demanding the product since the transaction is irreversible. Should I wait until payment is cleared on my wallet? Or is it really imposible to fake a transaction? I've seen contradictory information regarding this matter so I don't know how to proceed. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
