Question regarding price of XRP Corporate vs Retail Posted: 02 Jul 2018 09:43 AM PDT Sorry if posted before - I haven't really found a solid answer yet. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me... If FI's and Banks buy a large batch of XRP for their use case, directly from Ripple and continue to buy directly from Ripple, then how will we see that volume/price change on our retail exchanges ? The way I see it now is that there could possibly be two separate market prices for XRP.
Is this possible or am I over thinking this? Any information would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments]

Opinions on the amount of XRP owned by the bosses Posted: 02 Jul 2018 05:47 PM PDT Before anything I wanna say that I want XRP to mean as much the next person here. I think the team's goal and the product they advertise are very revolutionary, plus the ideas that they have been coming up to try to decentralise XRP have been great (escrow, non-dependent on mining). However knowing that there are about 39bn XRPS in circulation, 55bn in escrow and the remaining belonging to the company, And knowing also that the 3 of the top men at ripple (Larson, Garlinghouse and McCaleb -not anymore) possess about 15bn combined, isn't it understandable that people still blame ripple for not making more effort to decentralise. You have 3 men that basically own about half of the circulating supply. And yeah, I know that they can't dump it all at once due to contractual obligations and what not. But still, isn't it greedy as fuck to own so much, specially given the fact that it's hurting their own project. I would like to hear some opinions here. I'm balls deep in Ripple because to me it makes the most sense, but the fact thay they can't come up with a solution to dilute how much those 3 own is pure greedy. Not to mention that also have fat shares of the company.. [link] [comments]
Uphold to Toast Wallet Question Posted: 02 Jul 2018 10:16 AM PDT I just bought some XRP using Uphold for the first time and I've been trying to figure out how to send it to my Toast Wallet, but despite some extensive Google searching, I've been unable to figure out how to do it. Anyone here have any experience with this? [link] [comments]

Question about couple/decouple from BTC Posted: 02 Jul 2018 06:37 AM PDT I started to invest in XRP in May 2017, every month I bought a small portion until december when I stopped. Now we can see that XRP mirrors every move of BTC, with more or less % but it usually moves at the same time. The question is, why this did not happen last year? Why BTC was decoupled from XRP? BTC went all the way through from $1000 to almost $20.000 without XRP moving. Why the situation changed after january? [link] [comments]
Taxation On Crypto | XRP > Fiat | XRP > ETH Posted: 02 Jul 2018 09:22 AM PDT So In theory (hoping) SEC decides Ripple XRP is not a security and will not be taxed at each and every transaction (rendering it useless in the US due to increased fees) Now say you would like to exchange you XRP may that be in 1yr or 10+ will that be taxed at different rate than the transfer from digital asset to digital asset due to the fluctuations in price. TLDR: will XRP>Fiat be taxed like crazy if XRP>ETH is declared as tax free due to not being securities? [link] [comments]
Posted: 02 Jul 2018 07:45 AM PDT If I wanted to develop a private payment application much like Venmo to facilitate international payments between banks using XCurrent would the XCurrent protocol allow me to do so? With the caveat being both the sending and receiving banks were not at all involved with Ripple or Xcurrent? I ask because if both banks do not participate with Ripple whatsoever could you develop an application that benefits from Ripples payment solution (lighting fast payments and settlements) if the banks just do not participate? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Need to buy more xrp... any suggestions? Posted: 02 Jul 2018 02:00 PM PDT Hey guys, I'm looking to buy more xrp... but uphold only allows me to buy 50$ a week for some reason.. so I went to coinbase and they only allow me 500 a week. So I'm all maxed out. What's another good service to buy more xrp? Kraken doesn't work either, they don't support cdn to crypto anymore. Thanks guy! [link] [comments]
