Musicoin wallet works everytime. Ethereum wallet 0.10.0 not so much Posted: 18 Jun 2018 05:14 PM PDT Ethereum wallet stalls out and never gets peers. The musicoin wallet a fork of ethereum works everytime. It isn't a good sign for ethereum that the official wallet is a heap. I have to figure out how another wallet works and possibly risk my ethereum to do a trade now. I am going to try myetherwallet in offline mode and hope I don't loose my ethereum. I know this post doesn't help. I needed to vent my frustration. [link] [comments]

Useful ERC20 tokens welcome at Ethex Posted: 18 Jun 2018 02:23 PM PDT List your Utility TokenSince launching last week we received many questions asking how to get tokens listed. Our latest article is a response. [Listing tokens is different at Ethex] (https://medium.com/ethex-market/token-listing-at-ethex-is-different-d92de14c2db3) (Ethex has a built in wallet that tracks all your tokens, however we are currently focused on trading useful tokens.) Let me know if you have any questions. [link] [comments]

What makes a wallet ERC20 compatible? Posted: 18 Jun 2018 02:16 PM PDT If you Google how to create a ERC20 compatible wallet every article tells you to use My Ether Wallet, Trust Wallet or MetaMask. I don't seem to be able to find any documentation on how to create an ERC20 compatible wallet via the JSON RPC interface, or what the technical difference is between a ERC20 compatible wallet (aside from ERC20 token support). If I inspect a ERC20 compatible wallet on Etherscan and compare it with a non-ERC20 compatible wallet I don't see any obvious difference. Can anyone tell me what the difference is aside from token support? And how one might go about creating ERC20 compatible wallets without going threw a 3rd party service? [link] [comments]

how long for the blockchain to sync fully? Posted: 18 Jun 2018 08:11 PM PDT Hello all. I am interested in running a full Ethereum node. I started it up on Saturday with 'geth syncmode full --nousb --cache 4096 --trie-cache-gens 1024' How long should I expect for the full sync to take? I read somewhere that the full blockchain is now over 1TB in size. My chain directory is only up to 100GB so far. [link] [comments]
What happens to your Ethereum when you die? Posted: 18 Jun 2018 07:59 PM PDT Can you leave Ethereum (er, or any cryptocurrency) for your kids/people in your will? I feel like any "third party" would be too risky. This feels like something we will have to figure out in the near future. [link] [comments]

ChainMonsters launches "hot potato" auction for their unique monster #0 with revenue share model Posted: 18 Jun 2018 05:53 PM PDT A never ending "hot potato" auction has been launched on https://chainmonsters.io/aetherian where players can try to hold onto the first ever created ChainMonster with unique abilities and even earn their fair share of revenue by getting in early! The price goes up by x1.5 after each sale and is currently chilling at 3.75 ETH with a guaranteed revenue share of 0.84375 ETH for the next buyer. Given that this monster does have a fair bit of advantage when it comes to breeding for example and is also heavily referenced in the game's story, this is the earliest possible point to get in on this auction! https://medium.com/@ChainMonsters/chainmonsters-special-aetherian-auction-launches-5abb7378602c [link] [comments]
Poloniex hot wallet weird activity? Posted: 18 Jun 2018 05:00 PM PDT I received some ETH today from address 0x32be343b94f860124dc4fee278fdcbd38c102d88which etherscan identifies as a Poloniex wallet, most likely their hot wallet due to # of transactions. It wasn't a lot but I have never had a Poloniex account before so I'm confused about why I received it. Looks like it was all sent at @ the same time and it was A LOT outgoing, probably thousands of ETH to different addresses. [link] [comments]
