the "digital gold" fairytale is a way to lure uneducated folks into a giant ponzi system Posted: 19 Jun 2018 11:35 PM PDT by running the "btc is digital gold" propaganda, the core guys actually build up one of the biggest ponzi schemes we have yet witnessed on earth. they lure uneducated crypto investors into a system, where they are told that it is normal for a cryptocurrency not to be used as a currency, but as a so called store of value. that the new investors do believe and hope to just HODL and do absolutely nothing to gain wealth. but thats not how investing works. investing is a form of WORK, because one puts his/her hard earned money into something that is up to BUILD wealth. the bitcoin core mentality is a parasite mindset, completely relying on the hope that others might buy their BTC for a higher price someday. its not about building anything, its about sucking money out of uneducated people. thats why i am utterly disgusted by that mindset. i almost fell for it in decembre 2017, but thanks to many people in the internet i did wake up and could escape [link] [comments]
/r/cryptocurrency censored my post about Bitcoin Cash Posted: 19 Jun 2018 05:41 PM PDT It seems the mods of /r/cryptocurrency have a problem with posts about Bitcoin Cash, as they censored my post. The hilarious thing about it, within my post it was trolled and littered with spam. But yet the spam/troll posts stayed up, and my post was censored. Tell me again how they had their entire mod team replaced 7 months ago and now they are censoring everything that is pro-BCH? Interesting... 🤔 Proofs: https://imgur.com/a/l7g5nsA [link] [comments]

Im buying my first few BCH tomorrow. Posted: 19 Jun 2018 10:59 PM PDT I started buying into BTC after the BCH fork last year so wasn't aware of BCH except from the things that core enthusiasts said bashing it. I'm still hodling BTC and always will, but can someone explain to me the whole "bch is just widening the road" vs using subways, metros, making the entire network more efficient thing. I mainly want to hedge my bet with Jihan having so much power and knowing he prefers BCH. I truly don't care which chain wins, I just want to be on both sides because I love BTC. I have never owned bch but promise I am buying a few tomorrow. Can anyone tell me the long term outlook and explain why it's better scaling than segwit / LN? [link] [comments]

The bitcoinsubway.cash site is great. Just tipped the developer using BCH. Posted: 19 Jun 2018 08:49 PM PDT Just tipped the developer of bitcoinsubway.cash $1.50 worth of BCH. Interestingly enough, that gesture would be impossible with BTC right now, seeing the median Tx fee is higher than $1.50 at the moment (showing as $2.03 for the last 1000 Tx as I type this). EDIT: Up to over $3 now... [link] [comments]

Why are my transactions not confirming? Posted: 19 Jun 2018 01:40 PM PDT I'm a developer (working on a BCH project), and am having trouble figuring out why my BCH transactions aren't confirming. The fee is 1.04 sat/b, and they're just sitting in the mempool (for weeks!) without confirmation. The transactions only show up on Bitpay's block explorer and not on bitcoincash.blockexplorer.com, which is also strange. Any help would be appreciated, here are some links: tBitpay explorer (my address with unconfirmed transactions): https://bch-insight.bitpay.com/#/address/qra4cts50zs0spfuwk94yae5a57t073jps5hae847u bitcoincash.blockexplorer (none show up) https://bitcoincash.blockexplorer.com/address/bitcoincash:qra4cts50zs0spfuwk94yae5a57t073jps5hae847u Thanks in advance, any help is much appreciated.
