    I originally posted this in another thread, but I think it warrants its own discussion.

    Not to be that guy (I'm long on XRP and I honestly think I know more about the technical details than most) but I was seriously hoping to see a bit more detail with the statistics presented.

    We've simply been given a range of 40-70% savings and people are going nuts, but this confirms what we already knew/trusted from the cost model paper published a long time ago.

    I understand the nature of NDAs and revealing information that may reveal what a company is trying to do, but surely Ripple could've told us about the number of transactions undertaken during the pilot, the standard deviation of processing times and processing cost, etc, without revealing anything confidential.

    I've been up and down the xrpl monitor and can't find escrow create transactions for the leftover april release. Sinds january about 900 bln is re-locked early the next month.

    Have I missed it?

    Or is institutional adoptation / investment picking up?

    Companies, especially non-investment banks, are very conservative / risk averse, and only move when the herd starts moving. But when the herd starts moving, it's unstoppable and massive.

    When the banking industry players notice more and more early Ripple Partners succeed in their pilots tests, cutting massive costs and gaining speed of execution, they'll quickly FOMO because the financial industry is extremely competitive and ripe for disruption, and none of the players here want to risk being the last to move.

    So now they're all watching (some, laughing / fighting). Then soon enough they'll have to decide if they jump on board or laugh/fight a little more and take the risk of being left behind.

    In 6 to 12 month I believe, billions will suddenly start pouring in, it'll be announcement after announcement.

    In the end, no company will resist blockchain once it's been acknowledged / knighted / social-proofed by the business world & institutions, and similarily no financial firm will resist Ripple products once their competitors & partners start stepping in the train, because first movers advantage and FOMO.

    So just put your stack in a hardware wallet, and wait for the tide to arrive.

    The community effort to create a new XRP logo is underway! This blog was a collaboration with @xrpsymbol, @XRPTrump, @RabbitKickClub and other community members. (those are Twitter avatars)

    In this blog, I cover why a new XRP logo is needed, what prompted the effort to create a new logo, what Ripple thinks of this effort, and other background information.

    In addition, I will preview two of the fourteen submitted designs and provide context about how one of them was created, along with the next steps in the process.
