Posted: 26 May 2018 03:36 PM PDT >4 Billion dollars of hardware secures the Ethereum blockchain now. That is $2 billion dollars of requirement to successfully launch a 51% attack. Because of this capital requirement, Ethereum is currently not a feasible target. This will change though. Substantially more efficient ASIC miners are on the way. Several companies (not just bitmain!) are currently producing and expecting to delivery to market in Q3. The cost to attack ethereum will decrease. And one attack will completely degrade confidence. These other currencies were attacked through leveraging ASICs on what were traditionally GPU blockchains. A full PoS timeline has not been presented. It is at least 12 months out, if not more. ASICS present a VERY real security issue for all GPU blockchains. This community has pushed "PoS Soon tho" as a response for far too long. It is not soon. Worry about the network security now. Worry about scaling now. These are the things that matter. [link] [comments]
How to Easily Send ETH payments to 500 different addresses? Posted: 26 May 2018 01:34 AM PDT Is there an easy way to send small 0.25 ETH payments to 500 different addresses without having to do it manually? I would appreciate an answer as this is an urgent matter and I need to process those 500 payments asap. I am also sure many employers like myself would like to use Ethereum on a business level and have the same restrictive issue. [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 May 2018 04:01 AM PDT Current progress in the robotics industry is impeded by siloed development, wasted labor, and high startup cost. As a result, the pace of robotics innovation is needlessly constrained. Kambria's creation was borne out of our desire to accelerate progress by engaging a vast community of developers and creators, providing them with necessary tools and connecting them through market demand. "Our mission is to accelerate the process of robotics innovation, enabling faster, cheaper, and easier robotics development and adoption by everyone" [link] [comments]
Ethbay: A Decentralized Marketplace where users can buy and sell using Ethereum Posted: 25 May 2018 08:38 PM PDT Ethbay is a decentralized peer to peer marketplace where users can buy and sell using Ethereum. In the future Ethbay plans to add additional features to its platform including Ethbay Services where users can also buy and sell services using Ethereum (essentially a decentralized fiverr). As well as Ethbay Classifieds where users can buy and sell locally using Ethereum as a base currency. Ethbay is one of the first truly anonymous marketplaces in existence. No personal information is required to sign up and users are ready to buy and sell immediately after registration. Transactions are protected using an ultra secure Ethereum smart contract escrow to keep both the buyer and the seller safe. Unlike standard marketplaces that charge 10-15%+ fees to sellers, Ethbay charges a low 1% fee making it a highly preferred option among sellers. The platform also eliminates listing fees that many marketplaces charge. More information about Ethbay can be found at https://www.ethbay.co [link] [comments]
