I want to create a business that uses smart contracts from Litecoin technology Posted: 01 Apr 2018 02:24 AM PDT I am not asking for anyone to hold my hand, but I need help getting pointed in the right direction. I reached out to several developers via email and on DMs on reddit. As of now I have an idea for an online store, but in the near future I want to implement smart contract technology that the litecoin team is working on. I guess this is part of the "stepping up" and being the change. I fucking hate waiting around for some asshole to create something just for the price to go up. So here's a random example that isn't from me or what I'm interested in: Uber style app that pays after the half way mark. A simple smart contract that pays as you go. How does someone who owns the business go about implementing smart contracts into that in the blockchain? I don't mind reading it, but I'm having a hard time finding resources to learn how to do this myself, and to be able to speak my ideas well enough to an engineer. [link] [comments]
Reminder : It’s Litecoin Day #April ! Posted: 01 Apr 2018 08:25 AM PDT Use your ltc folks, buy something with it or accept it for something today ! :) One simple idea would be to tell a friend you'd pay for their drink if they paid the bar in cash and accepted ltc from you as reimbursement :) For the original idea see : https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/77jndj/we_need_to_all_start_using_litecoin_more_maybe_we/ [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Apr 2018 11:11 AM PDT Hi all I have a friend who only wrote down 11 of the 12 words from his LoafWallet seed. Loaf has reset after he backed up his iPhone and he obviously now can't restore it. To make things worse, we're not sure where in the sequence the word is missing from. I've been looking online for a program that I can use and all I can find is this on GitHub: https://github.com/gurnec/btcrecover unfortunately I have no idea how to use python or if it is relevant for this situation. How many total seed words does LoafWallet use? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about finding the last word? Please don't offer to help by asking for the 11 words. I know what you lot are like! /u/losh11 any suggestions? You have been kind enough to help me with LoafWallet in the past. Thanks [link] [comments]
Compare withdrawal and trading fees for LTC Posted: 01 Apr 2018 07:26 AM PDT Hey guys! Compare withdrawal and trading fees for LTC (and others coins) on few exchanges. https://www.feexplorer.io/coin/5/LTC https://www.feexplorer.io/coin/1/BTC

Posted: 01 Apr 2018 12:08 PM PDT Litecoin is only $5B away from overtaking BitcoinCash in market cap. Another bull run and we'll be at the #4 market cap spot where we belong. BCH used to be 10x the price of LTC- now it's only 6x the price. Are the whales driving down prices in all crypto to dethrone the unintended? [link] [comments]

What is up with Twitter bots / fake accounts surrounding LTC Foundation twitter? Posted: 01 Apr 2018 12:39 AM PDT I just went through couple of tweets by LTC Foundation and it seems like everytime there is tens of bots / paid accounts to comment, like and retweet the tweets. Does LTC Foundation really pay and try to bot their reach? [link] [comments]

Just a quick question about how to coin values change. Posted: 31 Mar 2018 07:53 PM PDT Hi! I'm brand new to the cryptocurrency world. I just started with Coinbase and started purchasing Litecoin. I've noticed that the charts that Coinbase offers all seem to follow the same trend line. Is there any particular reason for this or is it just coincidence? I'm just wondering since, from what I understood anyway, is that these are all separate from each other. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Does mass adoption really means +10x for LTC ? Posted: 01 Apr 2018 02:39 AM PDT Guys , often I see posts saying , mass adoption = LTC to the moon etc , but in reality we are now in process of mass adoption and as you can see the prices are nowhere near the moon. Why ? Well it's all about money traffic . If you enter in bank account 1 mln $ and simultaneously withdraw the same amount, your account will still show 0$ . High turn over of $ won't increase the price of LTC for sure and this will expose the prices to the whales manipulation. This is the problem crypto may face when we enter into the mass adoption . In order for a crypto coin to grow in value, you need to make sure that more money are poured in. For now the trend is to use LTC only for short hold before conversion into fiat. Many shops are doing that and very few are holding LTC. This won't support the price growth. What does it means ? Well in my view for so long we don't have a global culture of avoiding fiat and holding LTC instead, the prices won't stay high and will be subject to the whale's manip. I am personally looking forward to see the first LTC ETF and more official LTC saving accounts . If we could add to that more institutional holders, this will be a nice situation for LTC's long term price growth , but to rely only on "accepted here" isn't enough in my view.
