When looking at the BTC/BCH ratio remember this Posted: 03 Apr 2018 08:25 AM PDT Right now 1 BTC is worth a bit over 10 BCH. This can feel disparaging when two months ago 1 BTC was just 7 BCH. However remember that crypto markets are still easy to manipulate. If someone hates Bitcoin Cash and wants to make it appear like Bitcoin (Legacy) is "winning" all he needs to do is sell a lot of BCH. And those who had a lot of BTC before the fork also have a lot of BCH to sell. And when the BCH price goes down compared to BTC a lot of "investors" that don't really care about crypto itself will jump over to the "safety" of BTC because they don't know any better. This causes more sells of BCH and thus even more price drop compared to BTC. So when measuring the worth of Bitcoin Cash you have to look at things other than its value in USD, things that may not show until several months from now. It will take time until the greater mass realizes that the future of crypto lies with Bitcoin Cash and that Bitcoin (Legacy) has stagnated. When that happens, that's when the BTC/BCH ratio will start to shift the other way. For now you could see the current situation as a great opportunity to convert your legacy bitcoins into Bitcoin Cash. 10 BCH for 1 BTC is a pretty good deal. I'm sure future you will thank you for it. [link] [comments]
Thanks to community feedback, we are now accepting BCH! :) Viva la revolution etc. Posted: 02 Apr 2018 08:15 PM PDT Hey folks, . We launched a little crypto boutique this weekend (worst timing ever smh), BUT... I'm really happy to announce that we're now accepting BCH as payment! :) Fully automatic. Coinbase commerce. Ta very much! Thanks to those who requested it, or provided other feedback - it's very much appreciated and really useful in these, our infant stages. Also I wanted to ask if the community would be interested in BCH designs? I've been a fan/holder for a while and had some ideas, but there hasn't been many folks asking after it compared to other coins. Ta very much and have a good day/week, Fizz PS: we're over at HODL.boutique if you want to have a gander. Sorry if this little PS is frowned upon, but launching in a bear market sucks (and you'll only see the link if you made it this far). PPS: And if you've made it this far, I may as well tell you that we're doing free personalisation for non-fiat payments all of this week... So instead of the logo on the inside neck saying 'HODL', it'll say 'Klaus' or 'Bob' or 'Julio' or whatever. Pretty cool imo (but I would say that). ¯\(ツ)/¯ [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Apr 2018 07:04 AM PDT The Samourai wallet for BTC is very very sweet. I am sure I am not the only one that would like this for bitcoin cash. It seems that this would be easy to make a Bitcoin Cash version. Just take the existing github https://github.com/Samourai-Wallet/samourai-wallet-android Modify for BCH, removing all the Segwit and RBF stuff. Sounds simple, right? Maybe we name it " Satoshi Wallet " [link] [comments]

Included in block waiting for 1st confirmation Posted: 02 Apr 2018 04:29 PM PDT Am I going to get downvoted if I said that BCH doesn't seem to be the appropriate payment method for coffee while the "flawed" BTC lightning network might actually be faster? Several times I send bch to my coinomi wallet and and I don't think the cashier is going to wait for 10 to 15 minutes to have their money. I thought the whole idea about bigger blocks was higher processinf speeds. The transactions are being included in block but the first confirmation takes "forever". [link] [comments]
