Exact representation of me Hodling Bitcoin since my day 1

    Posted: 01 Mar 2018 06:17 PM PST

My wife confuses hodling with "hatching". She told her friends that i'm a bitcoin "hatcher" because i've been sitting on my bitcoins since 2013 waiting for them to hatch. \_(*o*)_/

I'm no maximalist, but bitcoin has been #1 for ten years, created a new permissionless economy, and became the reserve currency of that economy. Wow.

Bitstamp can't lower their withdraw price.. it's already 0

    Posted: 01 Mar 2018 11:19 PM PST

All this news congratulating exchanges for reducing their fees seems unfair without noting Bitstamp has no withdraw fee! Canadian exchange QuadrigaCX also has no fees for withdraw!

    The Old Order Strikes Again

    Posted: 01 Mar 2018 01:03 PM PST

I was a remote happy programmer. I live in a third world country, but I work for a company overseas. All was well until one day(TODAY) I receive a call from my bank about my monthly "suspicious" income(my salary). The call went more or less like this: "Sorry your funds are being held hostage until WE DECIDE YOU ARE NOT A FUC**NG CRIMINAL. You have to fill a bunch of paperwork and possibly talk to a lawyer in order for the Government to know how to tax you the most. Thank you for your patience motherfucker."

So.. Until the slow, bureaucratic system decides I'm not a criminal, I can't pay my bills. My funds are frozen if not lost forever.

This is the kind of power that needs to be overthrown NOW.

This is why we need Bitcoin to succeed. And we will.
