I want to create Ripple apps. Where should I start? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 03:27 PM PST I am an experienced developer who would like to create something that helps the Ripple ecosystem grow, but I don't know where to start. Does anyone have a suggestion? I was thinking I'd try to make a payment app. I live in Colorado and marijuana is legal here but the dispensaries can not deposit cash with the banks due to marijuana still being illegal at the federal level. This is a billion dollar industry and they almost exclusively use cash! I doubt I'd have any trouble convincing some dispensaries to use crypto but I've never heard of a Ripple payment app, which is why I'd like to make one. Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Does anyone have a 100% XRP portfolio? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 03:30 PM PST I'm asking because I am looking to invest full time into crypto. I don't have much to throw around though, a few hundred dollars at most. I was lucky enough to nearly double my money on XRP once and now that it's back under $1.00 each, I'm looking to hold crypto for a while. But I wasn't sure about being entirely invested in XRP alone. Posted: 21 Feb 2018 05:00 PM PST Just curious if anyone knows why the market has tanked during the last 24 hours? I have checked my usual news sites and various coin subreddits and haven't found anything concrete. I've been involved in crypto since July of last year and am use to the runs followed by the corrections; however, this correction from our few days of positive growth seems a little more severe than they usually are. A few days ago I expected a dip in the alt coin market due to the run BTC was having but BTC has joined the pack and is shedding weight as well. I've also thought that after February's sea of red that maybe after a few good days everyone got scared it would dip and cashed out the small profits they made the last few days. Regardless, just looking for insight that I may have overlooked. At the end of the day it doesn't matter I guess. XRP is a long hold for me so I probably just need to close my laptop and walk away for the month. Regardless, cheers to Ripple for all of the fabulous news released recently. [link] [comments]
[Bounty] Addressing Misinformation from CryptoWikis and the AutoModerator Bot Posted: 21 Feb 2018 10:46 AM PST Ever read a post in /r/CryptoCurrency and seen the AutoModerator bot post bad information? I had a look at what it's actually saying and it's pretty outdated. The AutoModerator uses /r/cryptowikis as its source for information, specifically: https://www.reddit.com/r/cryptowikis/wiki/ripple_cons https://www.reddit.com/r/cryptowikis/wiki/ripple_pros https://www.reddit.com/r/cryptowikis/wiki/ripple_basicinfo The ideal solution would be if a knowledgeable xrpchat member and redditor with enough karma applies and updates it. Here we have a perfect use case for the xrptipbot. I'll send 5 XRP to the individual who updates the 3 pages above within 3 months. [link] [comments]

How often do you check the price? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 11:59 AM PST I'm a bit curious. I check about once a week or every 2 weeks. But I have a feeling ppl check way more often. Now if your not a day trader I don't see why you would check often so I'm just curious? I think by not checking often it helps. [link] [comments] |
