UPDATE: Visa Now Confirms Coinbase Was NOT at Fault for Overcharging Users

Hello from New Zealand. Our little kava shop now accepts Litecoin!

    Posted: 17 Feb 2018 06:17 AM PST

We sell a fairly niche product (kava - i.e. a traditional relaxing tea from the islands of the South Pacific that is perhaps largely unknown outside of our corner of the globe), so we are certainly not expecting to find many new customers here, but just thought we would share this news in case anyone was interested to learn that Litecoin is spreading to NZ and/or in case anyone was planning to visit NZ anytime soon. Our shop's address: https://kavasociety.nz

We currently only accept two cryptos: Monero and Litecoin. The former because we love the idea of private currency and the latter because of its ease of use and practicality. Gosh, I really wish Monero and Litecoin could marry one day to produce a user friendly private coin :)

[serious] when people accept ltc as payment how much are people actually paying?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2018 07:38 AM PST

How should I be looking at how much something costs in ltc if the price is so volatile. If i pay for something when ltc is at $145 vs the next day when it is at $225 then I feel like I made a steal. Or should I be ignoring the price of it in dollars and think solely in ltc?

    Am I screwed?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2018 08:36 AM PST

I bought a lite coin about a month and a half ago. I moved it to a wallet and encypted it with a randomly generated 24 character passphrase and wrote it down. Ive been trying to get into it for a couple days and the passphrase wont work. Im thinking it might be a number or letter off. Is there any way I can find my passphrase to change it if I know most it?

    LTC Scams

    Posted: 17 Feb 2018 10:00 AM PST

Can you guys list the coins that have ripped off LTC and are defaming them.

I will add them to the subreddit /r/coinjudge

And then to the website coinjudge.io

    Thanks,

If you have any other scam coins then create a new post with tangible evidence and it will be reviewed.

So just bought .000916 BTC using Square Cash. Very easy. LTC needs to be added to this platform

Especially with cash apps being so popular these days with younger people. These apps could make crypto sooo much easier. You keep a few hundred bucks on your phone app. Never too much as they hold your private keys and then you use Electrum or some other app to load you usable person to person crypto wallet app.

    Litecoin Future?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2018 11:32 AM PST

I don't really thinking LTC is a great coin, but I own it as part of my portfolio and believe it has will be viable for at least a year. I value LTC at about $210/coin and believe the price is inflated due to this scam/hard fork tomorrow. That being said, any input would be appreciated on maximizing profit.

Scenario 1: Sell LTC after hard fork, wait for bottom and buy back in

Scenario 2: Sell LTC after hard fork, price doesn't change, fomo back in.

Scenario 3: Hold because even though it may dip, it will ultimately be higher in the long run.
