- @SatoshiLite: Awesome! For Litecoin adoption, merchant processing is much more important than crypto debit cards. Using LTC debit card is not really paying with Litecoin. Merchants still pay high fees and you still have to deal with fraud. #PayWithLitecoin > #PayWithVisa

Crypto debit cards are ridiculous and heres why. Posted: 28 Feb 2018 02:34 AM PST So why is anyone surprised that visa didn't allow Litepay to be implemented. Do you think Visa the main competition of crypto payments will allow their number one competition to succeed? The attempts by cryptocurrencies to connect the fiat system with theirs is ridiculous, we shouldn't have to go through visa to Litepay, we should go from cash to Litepay pay instantly, deploy atms that deposit into your Litepay card without going through the greedy banks. Come on people! Charlie lee you should have thought of this. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Feb 2018 10:11 AM PST Instead of trying to figure out how to implement litecoin into debit cards, people should be finding ways on using qr scanners on your phone such as Apple Pay. This would be much more efficient and would not require a plastic card or third party card companies like Visa. There are already many services that convert cryptos to usd (or local currency) and could be implemented into a service like this. [link] [comments]

Can I remind you of something regarding Litepay? Posted: 27 Feb 2018 01:14 PM PST Litepay is literally one of the only things on the planet right now fighting for real world use of Litecoin. That's what this is all about. You're not doing it -- they are. You're just sitting on your fat ass yelling about this debit card while they have the balls to literally form a company in an effort to increase Litecoin adoption. Remember last month when you all believed adoption would eventually lift the price? And now you're pissed because you can't buy bananas and condoms with a Litecoin debit card? How many of you are the same FUDDER posting under multiple unames trying to drive the price down further? Hmmm, I wonder. [link] [comments]

Real answers only please!! [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Feb 2018 05:39 PM PST Hey All, I get the hype, and am really excited to see more and more options available for accepting litecoin and think its cool what litepay is doing. I currently run a crypto -> gift card exchange service in Canada. Over the past few weeks we have seen a flood of messages and requests to accept LTC through Litepay once it becomes available. Here is the issue: Some of us already accept LTC directly as a form of payment. No third party processors involved. So I ask that before you message vendors, you please do a little bit of research and make sure they actually aren't accepting LTC already. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Feb 2018 07:40 AM PST Since I already have several desktop wallets from other coins it's starting to get a bit messy and confusing for me haha, so I would prefer the web wallet, but would appreciate your opinions, thanks. [link] [comments]

LitePay Point of Sale tool for in-person retail transactions Posted: 28 Feb 2018 11:15 AM PST Does anyone know how LitePay's Point of Sale of tool will work? Will the customer have to wait for x number of transactions? There is essentially zero information available on the website. [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Feb 2018 10:21 AM PST Hi guys, I already own litecoin and want to buy more. However, during the dip a couple weeks ago I bought another litecoin through coinbase as I always have. This time Chase, I use my debit card, charged me a $5 atm fee and they told me every time I make a purchase from them they will charge me that fee. So I want to buy one more litecoin but where do I go in order to avoid this charge? I have accounts with coinbase, Binance, and Bitstamp. Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
When did you realize Litecoin was extraordinary and you couldn’t believe how useful it could be? Posted: 28 Feb 2018 04:20 AM PST I'm gonna do these every 3 days now, basically bringing the community together by telling stories and past experiences about Litecoin. Question: when did you realize Litecoin was extraordinary and you couldn't believe how useful it could be? Answer: Comment Below! [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Feb 2018 10:03 AM PST Am I missing something? I might not be tech savvy, but I can swear the LTC transactions aren't anonymous and you can actually look at the inputs. 5 minutes ago I sent some coins from Coinbase to myself, but instead of input address, it's unknown, how is that possible? On my Ledger automatically instead of input address I have "Coinbase" on it. Is it something new Coinbase made to distinguish from other exchanges and remain anonymous at the same time? https://live.blockcypher.com/ltc/address/LcVaqnEte6QYs6AF3rEhv85jxwFPJBqFN1/ [link] [comments]
What would you prefer more: An LTC debit card, or Apple Pay compatibility? Posted: 27 Feb 2018 09:30 PM PST I understand that you can use QR codes for transactions already through a phone, but I think an Apple/Google Pay-style system would definitely be more convenient, if not Apple/Google Pay itself (whether or not it's a pipe dream at this time).
