Let's have some good news for a change Posted: 05 Feb 2018 06:16 AM PST Listen up. It's not the end of the world. The blue ball keeps spinning, the red one still burns our backs and crypto is more known and used throughout the world than it ever has been. Innovation, work and spread are on an all-time-high. We did a lot in the past years, and the future looks more than bright. We are at the beginning of a revolution that might change the world for the better. Now get yourself together, have some good news and then shutdown your computer and take some time off crypto. It's all going to be good in the end. Yes, I promise. Here, have a hug. Hot & spicy, fresh out the oven: Singapore: Singapore Airlines & others will use the Blockchain https://www.coindesk.com/singapore-airlines-launch-blockchain-based-loyalty-wallet/ Canada: Canada's regulators approve ETF for crypto, government looks into crypto http://blocktribune.com/blockchain-etf-approved-canadian-regulators/ http://www.tokenverse.com/news/canada-looks-to-blockchain-for-airline-security-government-transparency/ SK & China: South Korea & China still see great potential in crypto https://coindoo.com/south-korea-and-china-collaborate-together-to-develop-the-blockchain-technology/ Europe: The EU wants to jump on board and push innovation in the blockchain space https://www.neweurope.eu/article/eu-jumps-blockchain-train/ Luxembourg: Line to open an exchange http://delano.lu/d/detail/news/line-corp-considers-luxembourg-crypto-hub-report/168737 Liechtenstein: Head of state of financial hub Liechtenstein, Crown Prince Alois thinks about adopting crypto https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/914559/Bitcoin-price-why-BTC-falling-today-cryptocurrency-news-value-crash-latest-blockchain Iceland: Crypto miners set up camp in countries like Iceland and Canada and move to more eco friendly mining https://btcmanager.com/big-environmentally-friendly-cryptocurrency-mine-set-land-iceland/ Russia/Switzerland: Crypto exchange for institutional investors https://btcmanager.com/russian-state-bank-open-crypto-exchange-institutional-investors-europe/ We are not standing still, we are moving. But you think banks & governments will just roll over and take it, without pushing back? Hell no. This will be a rough ride. So buckle up and enjoy. Now go away and do other stuff. Come back in a month or two. And remember why you are in this. Not to make money, but to take some freedom back. It's time to decide if you're willing to fight for it. See ya! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Feb 2018 07:05 AM PST Even though the downtrend is becoming steeper and steeper, almost vertical now on the 1-hr and 4hr charts, this is good news in a way because it means the end is getting closer. Why does it mean the end is getting close? Because a market going vertically straight down is just as unsustainable as a market going vertically straight up. Trending can be sustained forever, but not going vertical. Going vertical also means we'll find our final support much quicker than if we were moving in a more diagonal direction. Personally I think the bottom is between 4500 and 6500 and at this rate we'll be there by the end of this week. [link] [comments] |

Can a competing cryptocurrency make Bitcoin obsolete? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 10:10 PM PST |
Posted: 05 Feb 2018 08:56 AM PST I get it, everyone wants to be right and predict a trend. But in every post I've read thus far, all the comments are negative. The same negative comments are coming from the same people with 100 karma and just berate people who try to give their opinion. "There's no facts in your logic, it's all emotion" "What are you even talking about, of course XXX doesn't play a factor, jeez you're stupid LOL"" Meanwhile those people posting negative comments are asking what a good alt currency is. Or is bitching I saw a title to a thread earlier, nobody truly knows what's going on. Just like the regular old stock market in most cases. Which is a good thing. [link] [comments] |

At what point do alts begin gaining satoshis? Posted: 05 Feb 2018 09:49 AM PST In the event bitcoin goes all the way down to 100. Does that automatically place the value of eth at 10.00 or LTC at 2.00 or do they stand on there own 2 feet at some point and begin gaining ground in terms of satoshis. If they cannot, we are all just really investing in Bitcoin under different names. [link] [comments] |

Krugman to Bitcoiners: I feel pleasure that the bubble burst Posted: 05 Feb 2018 09:40 AM PST Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman feels vindicated after warning that the Bitcoin bubble was a bubble. And it is hard to argue against Krugman, now that Bitcoin has crashed badly. Two days ago in Twitter, he wrote: "I am surely not the only person experiencing a fair bit of cryptofreude -- pleasure in watching the Bitcoin etc bubble deflate. Bitcoin cultists tend, after all, to be nasty as well as crazy; not all of them, but surely above the average 1/" [link] [comments] |
1Fox, sister-site of 1Broker is, in theory, releasing tomorrow. Leveraged BTC trading Posted: 05 Feb 2018 08:48 AM PST I've been a part of the testing users for the past week or so and I have to say the platform feels pretty cool. Leverage up to 5x, both long and short. It could probably benefit with some more users knowing about it though. I don't know why they aren't doing any sort of advertising for it. Oh well, let me know what you guys think if you decide to try it. Currently BTCUSD only but hopefully they will add more in the future. [link] [comments] |

What EMA do you guys use for crypto? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 06:56 PM PST I was using 13 and 48 primarily but have heard for crypto to consider 12/26. Curious on what others have found success with. [link] [comments] |
BTC Bitcoin - Feb 5 - 3AM Update - Elliot Wave Arguments, Deduction, Targets, Bull and BEAR Scenario Posted: 05 Feb 2018 03:04 AM PST All I ask is that you consider my material. I currently have 80,000+ followers on Youtube, Twitter, and here combined where my goal is to help improve the crypto community. I'm a crypto analyst that likes in Elliot Wave Theory. My Youtube, and on twitter, is the most unique channel currently out and I hope it'll add value to your crypto career as well. https://steemit.com/litecoin/@philakonecrypto/litecoin-ltc-feb-5-technical-analysis-possible-56-gain-if-specific-criteria-met [link] [comments] |
It's Starting To Look Very Textbook... Posted: 04 Feb 2018 09:21 PM PST |
How should one weighted calculate average buyin price? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 04:37 PM PST I'm not talking about for tax purposes just purely for my own recollection. I know my average buy in price the thing is I've also sold off some of that initial investment and I know my average sales price but given that I've sold some and sometimes rebought later on then how can I determine a fair valuation of what my average buyin truly is which takes into account how I've sold some Bitcoin? Merely calculating the averages of all buys only takes into account the purchases and not that some of those bitcoins which had initially been bought had since been sold. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Feb 2018 08:43 PM PST Hello, I want to get a virtual bitcoin debit card but I am not sure what to choose and im afraid of getting scammed. Tell me any recommendations. I live in Europe. [link] [comments] |
Having trouble in buying Crypto or sending it in any large amount. Is this usual ? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 12:35 PM PST I am trying to buy BTC, ETH via Coinbase but am a bit frustrated by the pace of things.
I tried opening up an account on Gemini and it's been waiting verification for 5 days. I guess I am surprised by how cumbersome crypto trading or sending it feels. I am surely missing something here. What should I change in my process to be trading BTC and other coins more smoothly ? [link] [comments] |

A little confused with EMA crossovers. Posted: 04 Feb 2018 01:34 PM PST Looking at GDAX specifically... Is EMA12 always the leading average? As of now, the price is going down (LTC/BTC) but EMA26 is on top... Earlier on today when a similar drop happened, EMA12 was on top. Is it simply a crossover that indicates trend reversal regardless of which is on top, or a specific order of EMA's? Thanks [link] [comments] |
